Conclusion: a gendered field
• Men dominate the ICT sector in working life - fewer women are computer specialists, significantly fewer women are ICT entrepreneurs
- women’s share decreases among young women
• ICT programs at high-school attract few young girls
• Fewer women apply to university, few get academic exams - all exams 25 %, computer technology civil engineers 5 %
• Women are under-represented in ICT academical life
- few graduates and even fewer professors
• Women are paid less than men in the ICT sector
