1_INNOFILL CAN DVD COMPUTER-CONTROLLED CAN FILLER WITH A VOLUMETRIC FILLING SYSTEM FILLING The Innofill Can DVD is a computer-controlled can filler which works according to the volumetric filling principle. Various beverages: beer, carbonated soft drinks, juice, still drinks and tea/coffee can be filled in cans. The DVD is characterized by utmost flexibility and the filling system's capabilities for the future. The DVD achieves filling speeds of up to 120,000 cans/hr with exact product volume compliance and minimal loss of product. All of the DVD operations are automated, all processes are documented and can be reproduced at any time.  Machine Characteristics The filling machine is driven by a homocinetic joint shaft from the main drive of the can seamer. As a result, a synchronous operating speed is always ensured in both machines. The configuration of the filler meets the highest hygienic demands. The filler can be optionally designed with a slanted filler table. In addition, the filling machine has all-around paneling with electrically secured hinged doors, which enable good accessibility to the machine. Minimal changeover times to different can volumes are implemented via input on a control panel.  Filling Process Volume filling is independent of the can shape. The cans reach the filling machine on a single-lane transportation belt which is driven by the machine. The cans are brought to machine pitch on the infeed screw and fed to the machine via an infeed star. An optimal filling process for differing can volumes is ensured by storing filling parameters. High filling accuracy is achieved by measuring filling volumes with electromagnetic inductive flow meters (MID). The filling sequence takes place in several steps. First of all, the can is slid into place and then it is sealed. Filling starts after the can has been rinsed with CO2 and pressurized. When the target volume to be filled has been achieved, the filling valve is pneumatically closed by a signal from the MID. After filling, the can's filling pressure is discharged in a separate channel and finally it is released.

FILLING SYSTEM FILLING

The Innofill Can DVD is a computer-controlled can

filler which works according to the volumetric

filling principle. Various beverages: beer,

carbonated soft drinks, juice, still drinks and

tea/coffee can be filled in cans. The DVD is

characterized by utmost flexibility and the filling

system's capabilities for the future. The DVD

achieves filling speeds of up to 120,000 cans/hr

with exact product volume compliance and

minimal loss of product. All of the DVD operations

are automated, all processes are documented and

can be reproduced at any time.

Machine Characteristics

The filling machine is driven by a homocinetic joint

shaft from the main drive of the can seamer. As a

result, a synchronous operating speed is always

ensured in both machines. The configuration of the

filler meets the highest hygienic demands. The filler

can be optionally designed with a slanted filler

table. In addition, the filling machine has

all-around paneling with electrically secured hinged

doors, which enable good accessibility to the

machine. Minimal changeover times to different

can volumes are implemented via input on a

control panel.

Filling Process

Volume filling is independent of the can shape. The

cans reach the filling machine on a single-lane

transportation belt which is driven by the machine.

The cans are brought to machine pitch on the

infeed screw and fed to the machine via an infeed

star. An optimal filling process for differing can

volumes is ensured by storing filling parameters.

High filling accuracy is achieved by measuring

filling volumes with electromagnetic inductive flow

meters (MID).

The filling sequence takes place in several steps.

First of all, the can is slid into place and then it is

sealed. Filling starts after the can has been rinsed

with CO2 and pressurized. When the target

volume to be filled has been achieved, the filling

valve is pneumatically closed by a signal from the

MID. After filling, the can's filling pressure is

discharged in a separate channel and finally it is

released.

Cleaning-Friendly Design

The Innofill Can DVD has a very simple, hygienically

designed structure that ensures the best cleaning

capabilities. The machine can be optionally

equipped with various cleaning devices for external

cleaning, such as hot water flushing and foam

cleaning for various machine areas. For internal CIP

cleaning, the CIP rinsing containers are first

attached to the filling valves. This is done in the

shortest possible time, without the use of tools,

either manually or automatically (as an option).
