KH & K/1RExcursion to Dairy
A full report will be in next week’s newsletter but here’s a quick glimpse of the excursion today.
Last Thursday, a PJ Day was held to raise money for a shade sail for our Chill Out Zone. Mrs McMaster has matched the money raised so a fun day with a great result.

What’s Happening in..... KH
KH have been working really hard on their reading and writing this term. They enjoy reading familiar reads to one another and are beginning to use different strategies to help them sound out unfamiliar words. In our assembly item this week, we will be reading out some of our writing that we have been doing in class.
Horse Wisdom
Last week, Horse wisdom focused on our thinking. Students were given the task to lead a horse around an obstacle course, while they focused their attention to what they were thinking rather than what they were doing.
Congratulations Aaron and Flynn for winning the free
canteen lunch!
Free Lunch for Week 6
Winter UniformAs the weather is getting cooler, please ensure that your child/children have jumpers or jackets on them or in their bag. Please also ensure that your child/children’s names are clearly marked, so if misplaced we are able to return to its rightful owner. If you are in need of jackets or jumpers, please see Eileen as there are many different sizes available for a donation from the clothing pool.
Family Referral ServicePlease do not forget that we have Toni from Family Referral Services in the school every second Tuesday from 18 June. Toni is able to help make and arrange transport to and from appointments, discuss different ideas to help identify areas of need and put you in contact with any services available to help. If you would like to chat to Toni, please contact the school.
Fathering ProjectJust a reminder that the “Games and Grub” for fathers/ father figures and their children is all set for Wednesday, 26 June. Last terms night was such a huge success and this one could be even bigger!! If you have some games at home that you love to play, please bring them on the night. Watch out for the invitation from your child/children.Cathie McMaster, Principal
