Hastings and St Leonards is famous for many things starting in 1066. Our outstanding architectural heritage of many different eras is also what helps give our borough its unique identity and makes it ‘famously Hastings’ The Heritage Open days gives us all a chance to savour some of our local gems. Hastings and St Leonards Heritage Open Days represent an outstanding community event that has been organised by dedicated team of volunteers for you to enjoy over these four days in September. This year, the theme is “a year to remember”, and is reflected in the wide range of accessible events, throughout the borough that cover so much of the History and Heritage of this fine town. If you are visiting the town to explore our heritage do come back again - there is much more on offer than you can see in a weekend, if you live here then enjoy our past that is so much of our identity and consider how we can continue to progress mixing the best of the old with the bestof the new.
