Each Team has their 11 players There are other ways to set up the field but

that one is the most common throughout soccer

There are two boxes where the goalie is located, the 18 yard box (bigger one) then the six yard box (smaller one)

There is the half way line, when starting a game each team has to be on their own side until the whistle is blown and the ball is kicked

Once getting to higher levels price can become an issue. Constantly traveling more, finding a place to stay when you do travel or wearing out your old equipment so needing to replace it. Paying for the uniforms and track suits plus the cost of a coach things can add up fast. Or if your just doing it for fun and to stay in shape it is pretty reasonably priced. Not worrying much about the outcome of each game and mostly focused on have a good time with a couple a soccer buddies.

Affordability

Page 8: Kenzie soccer powerpoint

Overall soccer is not a very violent sport besides the slide tackles and hitting the other player when going in the ball. When following the rules there are few times when players play fair and are understanding, though that isn’t the case all the time. Few rules for tackling is keep your elbows down and go after the ball not the players feet. When slide tackling try and keep your foot down and once again go for the ball not the player.

Safety

Page 9: Kenzie soccer powerpoint

Once reaching higher levels of soccer you have to be committed to playing. Not playing because your parents are making you play just for you have something to do or to stay active, you have to want it. Commitment to it you begin to thrive into a great player, always learning new skills and becoming faster and stronger. Learning new plays and when to put them to action. Enjoying when your spending time with your team and always looking forward and realizing that you have to give up some things to get where you want to be.
