    MARKING SCHEME

    3764P2 Trial JPN 2010

    1 a) Steps to produce Part B1 Measure and mark all the stated length by using steel ruler, L square

    and scriber.

    2 Mark with centre punch the line of U shape to be drill

    3 Mark with centre punch the centre of hole for inner thread to be drill.

    4 Clamp the work piece on bench vice

    5 Cut all open line by using hacksaw

    6 Dril the holes along the baseline of U shape using drill bit 5mm

    7 Cut with cold chisel and hammer to remove the scrap in U shape

    8 Drill the hole for inner thread using drill bit 10mm

    9 Choose the suitable tap size and fit into the wrench.

    10 Position the tap on the thread hole vertically and apply pressure.11 Turn the wrench clockwise and anti-clockwise 180 , drift the cutting

    fluid while turning process

    12 Continue turning process until the tap reach to the bottom.

    13 Change the tapper tap to plug tap and repeat steps 11 and 12

    14 Chang the plug tap to bottoming tap and repeat steps 11 and 12.

    15 Test the thread using actual bolt.

    16 Filr all cutting parts/edges using file.

    b) 1. Clean all parts to be joint using sand paper.

    2. Clamp the work piece on bench vice

    3. Mark the parts to be joint using steel ruler and scriber

    4. Place part A on part B and hold them firmly using vice.

    5. Prepare completely all welding equipments

    6. Light up the welding torch and adjust the flame.

    7. Heat up the metal (work piece) and filler metal together,

    8. Attach filler metal to the joint part, apply for tapping weld.9. Apply the welding process along the joint parts

    10. Let the joint cold down, and knock the slug with welding hammer.

    b) Langkah pembinaan bumbung atap genting berkait panca.

    1. Hamparkan felt /di atas kasau kerangka bumbung/ 1/1

    2. Pasangkan kayu beroti/ bersaiz 25mm x 50mm/ dengan memaku

    melintang.

    Jarak beroti = panjang genting lekap/2

    = 420mm 120mm/2

    / bermula daripada beroti paling bawah.

    Gunakan benang untuk mendapatkan barisan lurus.

    menutup lubang antara pertemuan dua bahagian bumbung

    Mortar simen digunakan/ untuk menutup lubang di antara

    kepingan genting dengan perabung.
