    There are some factors that motivated the changing of nursing education. For

    instance, globalization, policy or regulation, changing of society trends. Those factors

    interacted each other and influenced the health care system and the nursing education as

    intitution which produced future nurse. Globalization caused increasing number health

    customer who have awareness of health status; high rate mobility of people overseas

    effect the communicable disease around the world and the demand of skillful and

    knowledgable future nurses. Another is policy or regulation that more concerned about

    uality of care and cost!effectiveness intervention. The last is the changing of society

    trends means such as aging!population or alteration of life style influence the demand

    of complicatedness care for treating chronic illness

    The trends emerged in curriculum of nursing education. "t has influenced the

    method of teaching in nursing education. "t changed from the previous that emphasized

    in practical than theoretical.. "t also highlighted the active learning process to

    accommodate knowledge transmission through participation of learners. #oreover,

    "nstitute of #edicine $%&''( e)plained the competencies of future nurse such as patient!

    centered care, evidence based practice, collaboration with other profession, e)cellence

    Another trends is changing of level of nursing education range from diploma

    until post!graduate level of education. +ursing education developed rapidly to provide

    e)cellence services of healthcare. very level of education has its function and roles innursing field. -egarding Future of +ursing ducation as cited in "nstitute of #edicine

    ducation also set up the goal to increase the uantity of nurse with bachelor degree up

    The upcoming trends in nursing education will be focus on integrated nursing

    3ince the ageing population increased, means ualified and knowlegable nursing

    faculty will decrease in terms of their productivity age. "t impact to shortage number of

    faculty made nursing education institution should gain the new nursing faculty to meet

    the needs of the number of nursing student.

    Globalization nowadays reuires higher e)pectation of health provider to meet

    the needs of health consumer. This day healthcare consumer becomes more aware of

    their health status. +urse is challenged to enhance their knowledge to provide uality of

    care. +ursing education should prepare future nurse to be knowledgable and skillful toprovide ulified care. "t also important because the ageing population trends worldwide

    due to increasing number of life e)pectancy made chronic illness which need

    complicatedness care for health provider.

    Furthermore, nursing education also needs to involve cost!effectiveness of

    nursing care in nursing curriculum. "t was caused by the change of policy and

    regulation related to health or economic or both. +urses need to offer uality of care

    which promote efficiency, effectiveness, and affordable for health customer.

    As nursing faculty would try to contribute to nursing education, the challenge of

    nursing education trends will fulfill through enhance the knowledge by taking higher

    education level. "t also can influence the outcomes of nursing education such as

    improvement in curriculum to achieve the outcome, such as increase the number of

    ualified new nurses that can provide uality of care to health consumers.

    Further modification of curriculum should be added related to nursing education

    trends, such as apply technological!based teaching methode for appropiate sub7ect that

    would to achieve analyzing and synthesizing learning outcome through information

    technology. Another important thing is application of competences!based curriculum

    reuired to apply in nursing education for the %'stcentury. #oreover, regeneration is

    needed to change the aging population of nurse faculty. "t can fulfill by increasing the

    number of new faculty; encouraging nurses to continue education; encourage the

    mentorship or preceptorship for new faculty, and build lifelong learning motivation.
