“ Wonderland: Patti Warashina and Michael Lucero” Utilizing humor, imagination and fancy, internationally celebrated artists Michael Lucero and Patti Warashina are the subject of a new exhibition that considers their important work anew. The artists’ long friendship began when Lucero was a student of Warashina’s in the mid 1970s. All ceramic sculptures in this wonderous exhibition are drawn entirely from the ASU Art Museum’s esteemed permanent art collection. With nearly 3,800 pieces of contemporary ceramic art, the Ceramics Research Center has one of the best collections in the world.
