Kenneth served as Mayor of Fort Worth from 1996 to 2003. Prior to that he served three years as a City Council Member and chaired

the Council’s Economic Development Committee. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board of the North Texas Tollway Authority. Barr began a 50-year business career when he joined his family’s commercial printing business as a high school freshman. He became President and CEO in 1975 and served in that capacity until the business was sold in 2005. Kenneth is a graduate of TCU.

David created Designs for Living in 1989 in order to fill a gap he saw in the marketplace–high quality building and remodeling products and services combined with dedicated customer-

service. A distinguished member of the home construction community for more than two decades, he is also a member of the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate and serves on the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries, Inc., Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth and the James L. West Alzheimer Center.

Glen began his tenure at IDI in 1974, working in the capacity of engineer and real estate broker and subsequently became the President and CEO. Glen brought on experts in strategic

growth, brokerage, and facilities management to increase IDI’s level of expertise in the services provided. Glen’s visionary leadership created a company that is stable and growing. He serves on the board of several organizations and is a Trustee of Texas Wesleyan University. He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University.

Brad is the Director of the Neeley Entrepreneurship Center at Texas Christian University. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with

a B.B.A. in 1979 and earned his M.B.A from Columbia University in 1983. He worked as a management consultant for 10 years, consulting primarily with Fortune 100 firms, before beginning his career as an entrepreneur. From 1993 until 2005 he owned three separate businesses. It was after selling his last business in 2005 that he joined TCU.

Phil began his career in banking while attending TCU in 1970. At age 30, he was hired by the board of directors of Summit National Bank to organize a new bank in southwest Fort Worth.

He was subsequently elected Chairman, President and C.E.O. of Summit Bancshares, Inc. which was later acquired by Frost Bank. Phil is very active in numerous civic and community organizations. He holds a BBA from TCU and is a Graduate of the School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University.

Robert earned his MBA from the University of Texas in 1978. After serving as a partner at Luther King Capital Management for almost twenty years he established Holt Capital Partners,

L.P. He received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the College of Business at Louisiana Tech University in 2005. Robert is on the board of the Boy Scout Foundation, Longhorn Council and is the chairman of the Endowment Fund of the Rotary Club of Fort Worth.

Kristy possesses 22+ years of experience working across diverse business environments. Throughout her career, she has held senior roles in finance, operations, information technology,

and business development. Business and civic involvements include PerfectTech, Inc. Board of Directors (advisor), TCU Women, Women’s Center of Tarrant County Foundation Board of Directors and Women Steering Business among others. Kristy holds a BBA in accounting from Texas Christian University and an MBA in Finance from the University of North Texas.

Susan founded SKM Communication Strategies, LLC in 2001 after more than 25 years in public, media, governmental, stakeholder and community relations. She has worked on projects of great

historical significance over the years, including the British Petroleum (BP) Deepwater Horizon incident and the TransCanada Keystone Pipeline. Medina holds a B.B.A. in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a graduate of New York University’s Public Relations Institute.

Randy Watson is chairman and CEO of Justin Brands, which includes Justin Boots, Tony Lama, Justin Original Workboots, Nocona Boots, and Chippewa Boots. With more than 35 years of experience in the western boot business, Randy Watson has led Justin Brands since 1993.

Having worked under John Justin, grandson of founder H.J. Justin, Randy values the importance of the standards and spirit of the West. His company leadership focuses on innovation and expansion while recognizing the history, heritage, hard work and integrity of the Justin name. He has helped to establish and maintain a corporate culture that is focused on giving back to the local community and western industry at large.

Under his direction, Justin Brands has grown several categories of footwear, including the launch of Justin Original Workboots in 1997, becoming the second largest division. He has also overseen a 51% increase in domestic sales over the last 5 years and acquired a fourth U.S. factory in 2013.

Randy serves as a board commissioner for the Texas Department of Public Safety, a position appointed by Texas Governor Rick Perry. Randy is the president of the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund board of directors, he is an executive committee member of the Texas FFA Foundation and Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

His company legacy and community leadership has helped him earn the 2013 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, an award that recognized his innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to Justin Brands and the greater Dallas Fort Worth community.

Jan is an active angel investor specializing in life sciences. She provides financial leadership and mentoring to successful entrepreneurs. Prior to her retirement, Jan was Vice President, Finance at Galderma, a Swiss pharmaceutical

company. Previously, Jan held executive financial roles in France, Switzerland, Panama, Canada, and the U.S. Jan received a BBA from TCU and holds a CPA and CGMA. She serves on several boards and is also a member of Financial Executives Institute, the AICPA, and the Angel Capital Association.

After studying at the University of Montevallo outside Birmingham, Alabama, Melissa worked as a counselor with the US Army and Allied Forces as well as President of the Berlin American

Women’s Club in Europe. Following that, she worked with the late Ambassador Richard Holbrooke and the US State Department in organizing volunteer activities for then President Bill Clinton’s July 1994 visit to Berlin. Melissa holds various board positions in the Fort Worth community.
