Dear parishioners, We celebrate one of the dogmas of our faith this weekend, the Most Holy Trinity. While many people would have a difficult time explaining the Trinity, it is a fundamental of our faith. We should not take it for granted for, indeed, some faiths, like the Unitarians and the Mormons, do not profess belief in the Holy Trinity as essential to their core religion. While volumes have been written to help us understand the Trinity one aspect that we can focus on this weekend is relationship. God is all about relationship —Father, Son and Holy Spirit and He shares that relationship with us. This was beautifully portrayed most recently in a movie called The Shack. While not everything about that movie would jive with Catholic Theology, it gave a fantastic understanding and experience of the relationship that exists between Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This love and unity is a model for our relationships with God and with one another. This week, work on your understanding of your relationship with God and with one another in honor of the Most Holy Trinity.
Fr. Jerry Francik
Incense will be used at all Masses next weekend (June 17/18) Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi).

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
What you should know about the R.C.I.A. The RCIA (is a program of introduction into the Cath-olic Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. But more than that, it is a faith journey designed to meet our fun-damental spiritual needs as God’s children and help us identify with and become a part of a faith community. The ultimate RCIA goal, to be Eu-charist for the world, carries out Vatican II’s vi-sion of what the Church is today — the manifes-tation of Christ’s presence and grace at work in the world. If you are interested in becoming Catholic and deepening your personal relationship with Jesus Christ, if you are seeking to learn about Catholicism as the result of an interfaith marriage or other relationship, have not fully completed the sacraments of initiation, or simply wonder what the journey entails, please contact Charlotte Henderson, Pastoral Associate via email [email protected] (443) 981-3162. We invite you to explore this opportunity by coming to our RCIA sessions, which meet on Monday evenings beginning in September.
OUR DAILY BREAD Our next serving day is Wednesday, June 14th. Pans & recipes are available in the Narthex. Items needed this month: sugar, tea bags w/strings, paper napkins & other paper products, disposable cups, plastic baggies, peanut butter & jelly, baby food, desserts, tuna fish & #10 canned vegetables. Last month our Parish donated 69 casseroles. THANK YOU!
BAPTISM: Expectant parents are encouraged to contact the Coordinator of Faith Formation before the birth of their child to register for the Baptism Preparation Class and to set a date for the celebration. Adults interested in Baptism should contact the Pastoral Associate. CONFIRMATION: Students who request this sacrament are prepared through a program of immediate preparation as early as 9th grade. Students must already be attending religious education classes that are independent of this preparation. Please contact the Director of Youth Ministry. Adults interested in Confirmation and non-Catholic Adults wishing to join the Catholic Church should contact the Pastoral Associate. MARRIAGE: Couples preparing for marriage should contact the Parish to schedule an appointment with either the Pastor or a Deacon at least 6 months in advance of the desired wedding date.
RECONCILIATION (Confession): The celebration of the sacrament is available on Saturday from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm in the Chapel. First Reconciliation preparation is offered for children in the second grade and older, who were enrolled in a religious education program the year before. Students requesting this sacrament must also be currently enrolled in religious education classes. ANOINTING OF THE SICK: The sacrament is available for all those in serious illness. Please call the Pastoral Associate, (443) 981-3162. HOSPITAL VISITATION: Due to the rule of confidentiality, hospitals will not notify us when you are admitted. If you would like prayer or a visit, please call the office of the Pastoral Associate, (443) 981-3162 EUCHARISTIC MINISTRY TO THE SICK & HOME BOUND: If someone cannot attend Mass because of hospitalization, serious illness, injury or similar circumstance, communion may be brought to parishioners in their homes, the hospital or nursing home.
