Clients may say, “I don’t need a sunblock, my makeup already has SPF in it.” This is where you should upsell the layering effect. Why should you layer your makeup while protecting against sun damage by using makeup with SPF?The summer season is in full swing! Now is the perfect time to encourage your Clients to layer their makeup for additional coverage and moisturization. With the recent launch of our Sunscreen Cream Broad Spectrum 50+, we wanted to take a moment to discuss how important layering is.

How important it is to layer your makeup?PC: When it comes to makeup women want natural looking coverage and optimal moisturization. Layering is essential in order to achieve this. It is important to ensure that either the moisturizer or the makeup that goes on top has an SPF of at least 15. If a Client layers products that each contain SPF 15, are they receiving double the coverage? PC: They are not necessarily receiving double the coverage in terms of SPF numbers. SA: Indians have large eyes in general and mostly black/brown in color. Kajal beautifully accentuates the eyes and makes them the key feature of the face. It used to be made historically from the black remains when the traditional lamps were burnt even before electricity was invented.
