Also he used to visit theatre a lot because his grandma was a ticket taker there, He can still remem-ber details of the play coming out of the dark in dramatic lighting. His Mom worked at the orchestra, mask theatre he guess environment like this was a perfect starting point for his creative carrier. Ouh and did he forgot to mention that they
also got him attend art school at some point.
Being professionally an illustrator and conceptual artist, was it your childhood dream to be such or any interesting story you will like to share with us..?
My dreams is getting bigger every day. So in the childhood they were very small :)
your work is very much hanging between reality, dream, a story to be told complete yet in complete.. how you think such, what though process you generally go inside which helps you to come up with astonishing work.?
I like to create because every single time it is a journey of which destination I don’t yet know. Every time it is exciting travel through the concepts visuals and compositions that dictates the outcome of the image. And at the end of the day somebody has to pay the bills, right?
everybody is interested to know how you do what you do.. we will like to know what you love to do beside what you share with others in mass, your daily routine?
I wake up, make some coffee, take dog for a walk, come back eat something and then get on

:)probably, but every one of us is a little bit secretive.
6. any artist, painter who has influenced your work to a large extent, your colours are very subtle and soft, yet the stories are clear and crisp..
Unambiguously old masters, also cg mas-ters there are so many of them; actu-ally they’re boring each day. Every one of them fascinates me in so many ways and invades my con-sciousness

JOÃO NEVESDESIGNER
PORTUGAL
HTTPS://WWW.BEHANCE.NET/NEVESMAN
He was born in Lisbon, Portu-gal in 1991, during a warm af-ternoon in the end of May. be-ing the youngest of three brothers and one sister, so his childhood was spent in a loud and chaotic environment. Since he can remember, he always loved expressing my-self within different mediums like music, drawing, photogra-phy and even painting.
· Your words speak so much about you.. your beau-tiful creative mind.. how you planned to be a de-signer.. any academic train-ing u had or self taught.. what influenced you to be ..?
· The artistic area was always the one that interested me the most. I started playing with Photoshop when I was 12 years old and it definitely increased my interest in design (which I didn’t even know what it was at that age). Through high school I studied visual arts and in college I took a design degree. Even though I had some training, most of the things that I know and learned are self taught. There are a lot of good people sharing their knowledge on the Internet so there are no excuses not to learn and follow what-ever interests you.
The art of expressing words is in a form of an art.. is difficult for many to understand..
· When I’m working on a illustration for a quote, for example, the content is really important. I love the fact that anyone can relate to what it says. If I’m working on a branding project for a restaurant, the content is not as appealing, which makes the job more difficult but also more challenging. It’s the designer’s job to turn all the content interesting to the potential clients, otherwise it’s just an-other restaurant.

Typography and calligraphy.. how you describe your work...?
· Even though lately I’ve been focusing more on lettering, I don’t like to limit myself only in that area. I only started playing more with hand-lettering for about one year, but I’m always looking for differ-ent ways to express myself. I’ve been learning that changing your medium can be really good for your creativity and can challenge you to make better work. Typography plays a big part in my work, but, whenever I can, I try to combine different elements such as illustrations and photography. I re-member a teacher saying that if you know typography, you can pretty much do anything inside the graphic design area. Just by doing typography you need to think of the layout, composition, shapes, colors, lettering style etc. All the graphic design foundations come from typography, and maybe that’s why it’s so interesting to me.
· What tools you acquire for your daily work..any steps you follow.. how you plan your work
· My process changes a bit depending on the project I’m working, but usually, after I fully under-stand the brief and what surrounds it, I do a little bit of research around the theme to help me find a
concept. I don’t like to spend much time looking at other peo-ple work since it lim-its the creativity and can make you follow a specific style that doesn’t necessarily fit the project. After, I just let my imagina-tion flow and start sketching a lot of ideas. Some people spend time perfect-ing the sketches but mine are usually messy because I try to focus first on lay-out and the general
composition. When I’m happy with one of the concepts, I execute it and then I think about color. Col-oring usually comes last for me because when you’re working in black and white you can have a better sense of the composition. If it works in black and white, it will work with any color. I have a

Are u professionally a designer if so.. what you basically..? branding or else..
· I’m a graphic designer and an illustrator. I used to focus more on branding but at this stage I’m more interested in hand-lettering and illustration. I spent 1 year working as an in-house designer for the apparel brand DC Shoes where I produced graphics and prints for a wide range of apparel prod-ucts, focusing more on t-shirts and fleece. Right now I’m working as a freelance designer.
· What you think.. what kind of market does Typography and Calligraphy have.. if one wants to pursue it as a career.. its worth it..?
· If you like what you’re doing it’s always worth it. There is a huge interest for hand lettering on the market and, as long as you’re doing it because you truly love it, people will acknowledge that and will want to work with you.
· Please help our audience to understand he term TYPOGRAPHY and CALLIGRAPHY and how it affects one when one come across different forms.. how one is surrounded with it in daily life..?
· Both the terms lettering and calligraphy belong to the typography area, but usually people tend to mix them up. Lettering is the art of drawing letters and calligraphy is the art of writing letters. I’m very far from considering myself a calligrapher since it’s a craft that takes a huge amount of prac-tice. It’s an art form that brings us centuries back to the artists that were making thousands of hand written copies of the bible. Typography is around us every day, every hour, every minute. It is an es-sential part of our lives.
· If you were not An artist/ Designer.. what u were supposed to be..?
· I would be a musician. I play piano since I’m 4 years old and I started playing guitar and other in-struments over the last years. More recently I started producing my own songs. Music was always a big part of my life, and It’s a big vehicle for me to express myself.

· What keeps you inspired.. going.. and what else you like to do beside.. this..?
· I find a lot of inspiration in movies and music. There are a lot really good people doing really good work out there and it’s inspiring to see artists come up with different and creative ideas in this over-saturated market. Apart from design and music, I’m also interested in video and photography and I try to incorporate it into my work when I can.
· Any projects you working on at present or any dream project you have in mind.?
· Currently I’m finishing a couple of branding projects and I started working on a big typographic il-lustration. I can’t think of a dream project, but I really like to work with starting brands because you can see the value that your work adds to the company. When you’re working with big and estab-lished brands, it’s more difficult to see the impact of your work in the company. I would also love to do some editorial illustrations.
· Are you (traditional, Digital) in terms of Designing.. ?
· Design should always start with pen and paper. Then, when you’re ready, you can move to the computer. My work used to be really digital, but lately I’ve been trying to mix up traditional tech-niques with the new technologies. I have much more freedom and fun when I’m working outside the computer.
before I leave...
have fun. Don’t forget you only have one life and it’s important to focus on other
things outside of work.

Florian Nicolle, was born in 1986 in Caen and have always been attracted by the image since very young.
HE remembers that he was able to stay in front of the front of a packaging during 1 hour to look in detail at each area of the image.
The LINES in your work reflects the strong hold of your hand over the pencil..Please tell us about your academic journey.. have u acquired any artistic degree or its self taught..?
I have a Certificate in Applied Arts and a Degree in Graphic Design.
Your work looks so much breaking the line of being a pure illustration and painting.. accord-ing to industry standards (pardon if we are wrong) how you will like to describe your work... what you try to achieve in your work..
I am illustrator, so my goal is to produce pictures which are used for a commercial purpose (poster, TV spot, packaging, …)
I try to create an image that retains its freshness of the first paint stroke, the expressions of the line have to be very free and spontaneous. While keeping a rigorous drawing.
Your work gives a hint of your obsession with humans.. emotions.. expression.. eyes.. is it true..?
I love drawing the feelings, energy, movement. That is why the portrait, the sportive and people are my favorite subjects.
Please help us to know about your medium of work.. is it traditional or digital.. and if its both.. please help us to know a bit f detail for both..
I draw all by hand on paper, then digitalize the illustration, in order to work further it in photoshop. So I would say both traditional and digital.
