Jupiter based Pegasus Multimedia, under the leadership of Shelley Melanson, has been making a difference in the lives of the seeing-impaired with “Descriptive Videos” created from existing American Red Cross footage. Other projects include an interactive recruitment CD-Rom for McDonald’s with MDM Group of Ft. Lauderdale and an interactive CD-Rom for Citrix Systems to promote their new MetaFrame Access Suite software. Blue Sky Production Services assisted Pegasus in producing a series of 30-second spots for Adelphia’s local high speed internet and cable services. The actors have been gracious while visiting with the media and working with the crew. Howard commented to the County’s Education and Government Television, Channel 20 in an exclusive TV interview, “I really like this crew. There is a spirit down here that is cool!” Corey Dolling, Chief Information Officer of A.G. Holley State Hospital in Lantana, the film’s primary location, said, “The actors are extremely professional, gracious, considerate of the location and a delight to work with.” Other locations include Jetty’s Restaurant in Jupiter, CityPlace in West Palm Beach, The Gulfstream Hotel in Lake Worth and Old School Square in Delray Beach. “The locations we have been filming at have been so welcoming,” said Mike Sedan, the film’s producer. Taking the helm for the first time as director is Monte Young, who created Parrot Films with Sedan. Burt Reynolds and Friends Museum President, Mike Daniel, also joined the film as Associate Producer, assisting with coordination and lending his expertise. The film is tackling an aggressive three-week shoot to end on July 11 and will be shopped around to film festivals including the Palm Beach International Film Festival after three months in post-production. High school students will be given the opportunity to work with industryprofessionals to budget, develop, film and edit TV programming with the launchof the On-Location Education Program in August, made possible through apartnership between the Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission(FTC) and the Palm Beach County Office of Economic Development. WRITE NOTE EXPANSION TO CREATERECORDING NICHE IN PBC!

Write Note Studios, a West Palm Beach based full servicerecording studio, will soon become the largest and most diversified

recording facility in the Southeast once expansion of the current facilities iscomplete, according to Cooper Getschal, Executive Director of the Write NoteFoundation. The new studio will occupy two locations, one at an undisclosed highprofile location (to be announced at a later date), that will offer the ability to recordup to 800 musicians simultaneously, and the other at the G-Star School of the Arts,with recording options to include a soundstage, looping stage and music productionarea.
