Konica Minolta JT Workflow 6 provides a central point of control, including workflow automation as well as workload analysis. It is optimised for use in CRDs and in-house printshops of public institutions, universities and corporations, and provides an essential tool to minimise costs and maximise return on investment.

ESSENTIAL TOOL TOOPTIMISE OUTPUT MANAGEMENT

Using a job-ticket based print workflow, Konica Minolta JT Workflow 6 provides customers with a tool for easy and convenient ordering of print products. Print providers can route print jobs via the intranet directly from the source application to the printshops. There they can choose from a wide range of intelligent print functions to administrate all incoming jobs. Powerful Make-Ready functionality is included for professional job editing.

With its functionality related to templates and job tickets, JT Workflow 6 facilitates the automatic setup of devices and inline finishing and helps print providers configure and manage products automatically. Operators only need to do the setup once and make great time savings on repetitive prepress work forever after.

KEY FEATURES General

– Submission of print jobs via clients: Users can send print jobs to the print shop via the intranet by using a virtual printer. Jobs can be sent directly from the source application without the need of prior conversion to PDF format.

– Status tracking: Users can be automatically informed about the status of their print job via e-mail.

– Collaboration of multiple operators: All print jobs are hosted on a central server and can be accessed from multiple operator workstations. Every operator has his/her own account always showing clearly who is working on which job.

– Data analysis: Print data can be analysed and custom reports created via the included report assistant. A graphic view of the report can be displayed on the dashboard to provide an up-to-date overview for the operator.

Print policies and rules – Print policies: User roles can be created for print

operators and can be allocated specific access rights. This gives the print provider the control and flexibility of limiting access to certain features.

– Print rules: Rules can be created to assign jobs automatically to specific operators thus automating workflows and reducing the required operation steps.

– Preflight: External preflight engines can be integrated to repair problematic PDF files automatically and avoid production errors (option).

– Konica Minolta JT Workflow 6 is part of the Konica Minolta JT Suite 6, a modular software suite that provides tools to organise, automate and optimise the entire print workflow.

– Konica Minolta JT Workflow 6 builds on the entry-level module Konica Minolta JT Basic 6, which provides essential prepress functions including make-ready tools and output manage-ment. Further modules and options can be added as required, for example Konica Minolta JT Web 6, a web-to-print online shop. In other words: The solution can grow according to the customer's specific needs.
