Dear Friends and Fellow-laborers in Christ,   March 2021

We can’t help but reflect over the last year and see the Lord’s hand of protection and

guidance. It was this month a year ago that our plans and travels were put on hold and we had to go

home for almost two months. During that time, we had the opportunity to serve and help in our

home church, but our hearts couldn’t help but wonder about what would come of deputation or

even our plans of arriving in the UK to reach the people we love and are burdened for. It was at this

point that we had to completely give it to the Lord and recognize He had everything in His control.

How wonderful to know that God was not caught off guard, but had graciously planned to see us

through all uncertain times! God reminded our heart of His great faithfulness and gave us a verse

that we have gone back to time and time again over the last year. I Thess. 5:24 says, “Faithful is he

that calleth you, who also will do it.” We can evidently see the Lord’s guiding presence over the last

year and are humbled to report that He has raised our support almost triple what it was when the

pandemic first happened. FAITHFUL IS HE! We can only explain this as a work of the Lord and we

give Him all the glory and praise!

March has been a busy and eventful month. We somewhat feel like this month has almost been a

‘normal’ time, and by normal we mean pre-covid days! We have had meetings in TN, KY, KS, IL, IN,

WI, and SD. We have been to two Mission Conferences and many wonderful church meetings. We

have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of God’s people in the last few weeks! We

are excited to be finishing up deputation, and begin the process of moving over and applying for our

visa. While in Indiana, we visited Bethel Baptist Church. Though this was the first time ever meeting

this pastor and this congregation, we were encouraged by the friendliness they showed. The church

voted in the middle of the service to take us on for support! While in Kansas, we have the blessing of

being in a Missions Conference at Grace Baptist. We had a wonderful time of fellowship, and we are

happy to hear they too have partnered with us for monthly support! While passing through TN, we

had an encouraging meeting at Berean Baptist. We enjoyed getting to know the pastor and his

family over a delicious meal in their home. It is wonderful to be reminded of the pleasantness of

Christian fellowship! While at a Missions Conference in IL, at Faith Baptist, we were blessed by the

fellowship and preaching. This church helped us in purchasing luggage for our nearing move over to

the UK and also helped us with the cost of purchasing totes to move over our belongings. Many of

the members told us they had been praying and will continue to do so. We left so encouraged by

their generosity, love, and kindness. This next month we will be in WA, MT, ID, TX, and then

finish up the month in TN. Jonathan is preparing for his ordination at the end of next month.

We praising the Lord for four new supporters this month, and plan to be finished with

deputation by the beginning of May. God bless you all and thank you for your prayers!
