Job Club Mondays from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Learning Studio, 5th Floor, Bridge at Main This class has been prepared for persons with specialized learning needs who have not yet become part of the workforce or have some barriers to becoming gainfully employed. This weekly discussion group will take participants through the process of preparing for and practicing inter- view skills, participating in mock interviews and workplace etiquette. Each week will focus an important aspect of the social skills needed to navigate the process. Space is limited. Sign up by calling (415) 557-4388 or stop by The Bridge at Main. This program is presented by the Arc San Francisco, a non-profit agency. The mission of the Arc San Francisco is to serve people with developmental disabilities by promoting self-determination, dignity and quality of life.

In the first hour hear an introduction to resources that will help you become a more informed and empowered job seeker. The tools offered in this class are free or low cost and available to all. Some resources may require a SFPL library card & pin number. In the second hour Kate Ryan, Job Training Adviser, will speak about programs & services for job seekers & career changers at City College of San Francisco, and will conduct a brief ‘skill-share’ session that you may add to your growing job search tool kit.

The City of San Francisco is releasing an online lesson that walks you through Getaround, a carsharing service that can help you earn money while you look for a job. For a limited time, Getaround is offering a $99 equipment waiver for anyone who signs up through the online lesson.
