The responsibilities of the Sales Executive include:

• Identify, qualify and close prospective customers;

• Manage prospective new sales through sales stages and a sales funnel from prospecting, lead qualification, demos, proof of concept and contracting.

• Promptly respond to all inquiries from prospective customers including responses from search engine results, marketing campaigns, advertising and industry conferences;

• Provide regular sales funnel and forecast reporting to senior executives;

• Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets;

• Demonstrate proficiency in presenting Bocada products and services to senior executives, operational managers and technology staff;

• Develop and maintain an understanding of the marketplace and competitive offerings;

• Maintain the required activity metrics, including phone calls, demos and proposals;

• Maintain accurate, complete and up to date sales and customer related documentation in salesforce.com;

• Contribute to the success of the Bocada sales team and commitment to uncompromisingly high professional and ethical standards.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Bachelors degree required;

• Strong remote sales history;

• Minimum of 5 years of experience selling technology products to organizations using a consultative or solution based sales approach;

• Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas;

• Experience using Salesforce.com as the primary CRM tool;

• Experience performing live demos via Webex;

• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills;

• Computer skills with full working knowledge of MS Office products.

• Experience in some category of the IT operations industry (managed services, backup, security, cloud etc.).
