Specifications are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Summary: Responsible for updating and maintaining employee data in the Human Resources Information system (HRIS) and other systems supported by the HR team; ensures data integrity; assists with HRIS application maintenance; participates in functional testing for special projects; provides reports and general information requiring a thorough understanding of the organizational structure and policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains the HRIS and assist with general HR functions by performing the following duties: Ensures accurate and timely processing of employee personnel information into the HRIS systems. Consistently collects codes and enters various employee data into HRIS while adhering to company policies and procedures. Provides support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws. Effectively communicates with HR and Payroll to ensure correct and timely entry of all data; run and review various audit reports for accuracy; and make data corrections when necessary. Circulates updates on behalf of HR on new hires, separations, transfers, promotions, name changes, or other actions as appropriate. Supports reporting needs for internal and external customers. Examines and verifies employee information updated by automated human resources processes. Maintains various types of employee files, to include performing quarterly audits for quality control. This includes filing for multiple HR functions. Answers customer inquiries within designated time frames and perform any required troubleshooting for issue resolution. Proactively reviews and recommends improvements to current processes and projects. Promotes technology to increase productivity, decrease rework and eliminate manual effort. Non - Essential Duties:

• Provides cross-functional backup support for all other areas of the HR department as needed.

• Assists with recruitment workflow within the Applicant Tracking System. • Assists with special projects. • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Experience, Education and Licensure:

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Two-three years of HRIS experience, general human resources administration and personal computer operation; other comparable experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.

Preferred

• Previous experience using Deltek – CostPoint.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism, autonomy and maturity while working with customers across various levels of the organization.

• Knowledge of principles and procedures for Human Resources and general customer service for employees and customers.

• Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize work and accurately complete multiple tasks under minimal supervision and rigid time constraints.

• Ability to quickly and accurately compare similarities and differences among sets of letters, numbers, objects, pictures, or patterns.

• Self-motivated and directed with the ability to work independently or within a cross functional team in a fast paced environment.

• Must use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, and provide conclusions or approaches to the job.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, internet browsers and use of search engines; general office equipment such as printers, photo copiers, fax machine, and scanners.

• Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.

• Adaptability in a fast pace/changing environment. • Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted. • Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality.
