The boy lay there in his bed stiff with shock. He swirled his tongue around the massive canines protruding from his mouth. He could feel the dark fur retracting back into his skin. The smell of blood was still fresh in his nostrils. He uttered a soft whimper with his face in his hands. No one would believe him. He was certain of this…..

‘The dim, flickering light upstairs illuminated the dark hallway. The figure was still! Everything was in slow motion. As the slender figure took a step along the creaky floorboards it sent chills down my spine. I could feel it’s presence behind me and as I slowly turned around I could see the light glistening on it’s long knife like teeth…..

“Don’t ever go into the bathroom after five!” said the school janitor to the class. Jamie and his friend were eating up with curiosity. The next night after classes that just had to see for themselves. They were shaking with fear but the excitement took over. As soon as possible they went to the bathroom. They felt a very cold presence. It wasn’t one bit pleasant! Then all of a sudden the doors snapped shut and they were locked in. They felt something pushing down on their backs. When pumpkins carve faces, when fireworks are lit and kids trick for treats, a man watches the news - only to recognise the person who killed two! His clothes were stained red and the stench of death grew through out the house. The cards were dealt and suddenly with a gust of wind the doors blew open. A haunting hooded figure entered asking to join in the game. Lights flickered and tempers flared until the room totally darkened. Minutes later the last soul survivor saw the hooded figure leave. Under his cloak he could see the chilling hooves of the devil disappearing into the night.

Fog rolled over my body as I lay on the cold street. My ankle was now swollen to the size of a rugby ball. Running was no longer an option. I could hear them slowly trudge closer. The thought of the impending doom no longer frightened me. In fact I embraced it. Closing me eyes was my only shield. The nightmare was about to end but…..
