India of My Dream

India of my dreams would be a country where women are safe

and can walk freely on roads. Also, it will be a place where

there is freedom of equality to all and everyone can enjoy it in

their true sense. It would be a place where there is no discrimi-

nation of gender, caste, colour, social or economic status or

race. It will be a country that will provide equal respect to men

and women. It will be a place where every boy and girl has a

right to educate.

In future, in India there will be no discrimination, corruption or

bribery.

India will be a great industrial country and will make its own

products instead of importing them from other countries like

China and Japan. Indian companies will grow and work outside

India also. Future India would be crime free, where no crimes

like murder, rape or theft etc. will happen.

In future, Indian Judicial System would also become stronger

and more independent so that no innocent would be punished

and no offender could be forgiven. Future India would be hi-

tech in technology and would be economically sound as well.

In future all three armed forces- Indian Army, Indian Airforce

and Indian Navy would be so powerful that India would be one

of the most Super Powers in the world. Indian Railway System

would also become bigger and it would have

one of the strongest Railway networks not only

in Asia but in the world also. There would be

no compromise with health or in any field of

Healthcare and there will be advanced facilities

available in all the hospitals of the nation.

Future India would be Clean India and Green

India. Though, this India of my dream is diffi-

cult to achieve but we will always strive for it.

Value of ‘SMILE’

The value of a smile is priceless,

yet it is the cheapest, easiest,

the most rewarding and the

most sincere gift to anyone that

crosses your path. A smile

makes a person's day, anybody's

day even a stranger's day. A

smile is infectious. Start infect-

ing people with your smile

today.

A smile is narrator's best anti-

dote for discouragement. It

brings rest to the weary, sun-

shine to those who are sad and

hope to those who are hopeless

and defeated.

A smile is so

valuable that it

cannot be

bought,

begged, bor-

rowed or taken

against your will. So, if some-

one is too tired or grumpy to

flash you a smile, let him have

one of yours anyway. Nobody

needs a smile as much as the

person who has nothing to give.

Importance of Discipline In Life Discipline in one of the most important personality

traits in everyone's life. It refers to a set of rules and

regulations which are to be followed by everyone. It is in men's best interest to observe discipline in all walks

of life. Discipline is the backbone of character without

which nothing greater can be achieved in life. A man who does not observe discipline in life, has to always

suffer. He becomes lethargic and arrogant, and disliked

by all. A student who does not obey his teachers and does not

do his work on time, does not get success in life. Em-

ployees who do not work sincerely in office may be sacked any time. If sportsmen do not observe disci-

pline, they cannot hope to win any match. In the Army

also discipline is of utmost importance. Discipline leads to harmony whereas indiscipline leads to confu-

sion. No life is worth living without discipline.

A disciplined person is an asset to him-self, to his family, to his society, to the

nation and to mankind. Discipline works

everywhere. It controls the physical movement and our morals. There is no

sphere in heaven and the earth where

indiscipline does not dominate.

Should Plastic Be Banned? Plastic bags are a major cause of environmental pollution.

Plastic is a non-biodegradable substance and it remains in the

environment for hundreds of years polluting it immensely. So,

it has become very essential to ban plastic as it is very hazard-

ous for our environment. Plastic bags are destroying nature

due to their harmful effects. The entering of these bags into the

water bodies is a major cause of water pollution. It is very

harmful for animals living nearby water bodies, marine crea-

tures also and serves as a major reason for untimely death of

these animals. Plastic bags trap the drains and sewers, espe-

cially during rains.

So, the government of various countries has come up with

some strict measures to limit the use of plastic bags. Although

the Indian government has imposed a ban on the use of plastic

bags in many states, people are still using

these bags as they are readily available in the

market. In order to be successful in this

mission, we must keep reminding ourselves

about the harmful effect of plastic bags on

nature and keep a tab on their use. Gradually

we will become habitual of doing without

these bags. There are many eco-friendly

alternatives of plastic bags like reusable jute

or cloth bags. Thus, this is the earnest re-

quirement of the environment at this point of time that we

should stop using plastic bags to save nature and mother

earth.

YOUR BEST

If you always try your

best

Then you'll never have

to wonder

about what you could

have done

And if you'd summoned all

your thunder.

And if your best was not as good

As you hoped it would be

You still could say

National Education Policy (2020)

A Report

The National Education Policy 2020 has been introduced to

complement the process and vision of creating quality institu-

tions, a culture of innovation and a highly skilled workforce. A

live session was conducted on 29 December 2020 in the school

by one of the most renowned spokesperson Mrs. Kavita Iyer, in

which she threw light on the revised National Education Policy.

Some of the major highlights of the policy 2020 are as follow-

Schooling to begin from the age of 3 years- The revised policy

expends the age group of mandatory schooling from 6-14 years

to 3-18 years. This new system include 12 years of schooling

with three years of Anganwadi / preschooling.

Mother Tongue to be instated as medium of instruction- It has

directed focus on students' mother tongue as the medium of

instruction even as it sticks to the 'three language formula' but

also mandates that no language would be imposed on anyone.

A single Overarching Body of Higher Education- The Higher

Education Commission of India (HECI) will now set up a

single overarching umbrella body for entire higher education,

excluding medical and legal education. The same set of norms

for regulation, accreditation, and academic standards to be

applied to both public and private higher education institutions.

Separation between subject stream to be Blurred- As per NEP

2020, the rigid separation between subjects' stream will be done

away with. Students will have the liberty to choose subjects

they would like to study across streams. Vocational education

to be introduced in schools from class 6 and will include intern-

ship as well.

The Return of the FYUP Programme and no More Dropouts-

The duration of the undergraduate degree will be either 3 or 4

years. Students will also be given multiple exit options with

this period. Colleges will have to grant a certificate to a student

if they would like to leave after completing one year in a disci-

pline or field including vocational

and professional areas, a diploma

after 2 years of study for a bache-

lor's degree after completing a

three-years programme.

Thus, National Education Policy

2020, is an attempt to address most

of the grievances of the education

system which have been pending

for decades. This is certainly a

historic moment for all the stakeholders involved, be it the

teachers, students and parents. So the seminar proved to be a

great success in making the teachers aware of the revised NEP

2020.

Why Me?

If you have to ask Why me?

When you’re feeling really blue,

When the world has turned against

you And you don’t know what to do,

When it pours colossal raindrops,

And the road’s a winding mess,

And you’re feeling more confused

Than you ever could express,

When the saddened sun won’t shine,

When the stars will not align,

When you’d rather be

Inside your bed,

The covers pulled

Above your head,

When life is something

That you dread,

And you have to ask

Why me? . . .

Then when the world seems right and

true, When rain has left a gentle

dew,

When you feel happy being you,

Please ask yourself, Why me? then,

too.

Lifestyle diseases among school children : Reasons and Prevention

In today's generation, the immunity of children is getting so

weak that day by day they suffer from different disease namely

typhoid ,cholera, fever, cough a many other health problems.

The major reason of these health hazards in children is that

most of the times a day they are stuck to their homes in either

phones or TV. Lack of fresh air and physical exercise make

their bodies a house of diseases Sitting at home causes obesity

in man children. There can be no preventions to prevent children from these fatal

diseases but just a small change in lifestyle and diet is required. Imbalanced life-

style and diet are major threat to one's health. It is important to be mentally strong

but it is also necessary to be strong physically then only you will get success.

The Irony of Gunpowder

Do you like fireworks? Almost everyone in the world from

rich to poor, children to adults, everyone finds it pleasant to

look up at the sky and see the beautiful colors of fireworks.

But have you ever wondered about the powder that, makes it

propel into the sky?

Our story starts around the 9th century, the chemists of china were trying to make

something that can give them immortality but by mistake, they created a very

flammable powder The Gunpower, they soon realized that what they had made

was something opposite to what they were trying to create, but at this point, they

didn’t know how to make it explode. For them, it was just a very flammable

powder, but when they got it to correct proportions, they started to use it even

more, they made fireworks which they believed kept evil spirits away, and bombs

to defend themselves from Mongols. It was probably the Mongols who determined

how to make gunpowder and introduced it to the rest of the world. The engineers

from the rest of the world started making many deadly and destructive weapons

from bombs to guns to cannons. The gunpowder left a big mark on the world and

became a reason for the death of hundreds and made a big impact on warfare. And

yet we still find hope for happiness when we look up at the sky and see those

fireworks, such is the irony of gunpowder!

Good Things Come to Those Who Wait.

I'm happier today than the days before. Oh! In fact since last 6 years. If any person quits

waiting for something he desires, he loses the hope to get it. I have also waited and continued

it for 6 years and as a result of it, today I have got what I wanted for years. Let us know what

that wait was for!!

Sunday mornings started with making breakfast for picnics or a simple day out and the evening

ended by returning home tired! In Delhi, we were living our lives like every family does. My mother was

employed as guest teacher in some govt. school and my father works as an ASI in Delhi Police. And then life

took a turn, which we probably had never thought even in our dreams. My mother got transferred to Gorakh-

pur, UP. Meanwhile she was on the training for 6 months, Me and my sister used to miss her motherhood.

Then finally, my class 3rd session got over. It was then decided that I and my sister would head to Bareilly to

live with our 'Tai Ji', with whom we share a lovely bond. Earlier the wait for her retransfer was supposed to be

around 2 years but it then went to a extent of 6 years.

In the first half of the phase of 6 years, whenever I used to see others enjoying their lives with their

parents, I would miss my mom and father even more. Forsooth, I was with my 'Tai Ji' and 'Tau Ji', who love us

like their own daughters. Mom and father both would visit us in every 3 or 4 months. In 2018, list of retrans-

ferred teacher was announced but unfortunately my mother's name was not included. I was highly disappoint-

ed. Then I had to wait for the same for even 2 more years. This time she left no stone unturned in order to be

transferred. It was then on 31st Dec; 2020, when she actually got transferred. When I heard this, I had no

words to express my pleasure.

All of this actually has proven a very renowned idiom correct i.e.

IN GOD'S HOME,THERE IS DELAY BUT NO DENIAL.

E - Learning vs Classroom earning

"Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used

to change the world."

The traditional way of taking classes is called the classroom

environment and in this environment students are actively

involved with their learning process in the classroom. There is

interaction between teacher-student and student-student and the

interaction is a good source of learning but so far as E-learning

is concerned, it is utilising Electronic technologies to access

educational curriculum outside of a traditional classroom. The

effectiveness of classroom and E-Learning often becomes an

issue of debate. Can we say definitely which is more effective?

While classroom learning offers real time interaction with an

instruction, E-learning allows learning at one's own place in a

flexible manner. In such a case, how can we decide which

method we need to adopt to effectively and efficiently impart

knowledge to learners.

E-learning has become a necessity in current covid pandemic.

E-learning means learning and training through

digital resources whereas

classroom learning allows students to

personally interact with teachers and

other students. In classroom learning,

students not only study the subject but

also learn discipline, communication with

others and good behavior. This is an

added social benefit as an educational aid.

But in some cases, E-learning can be better than classroom

learning, for example- with classroom learning students must

physically attend the courses to get credit for attendance,

whereas E-learning turns the world into

your classroom or just the corner of

your bedroom if you prefer. Students

who must travel long distances to get to

school must allot enough time to arrive

on time, particularly in instances in

which inclement weather is involved. A long commute may

also mean spending more money on travel. In this way we can

say that E-learning is

more cost-effective than classroom learning. In

E-Learning students need not to carry heavy

school bags compulsorily.

Despite its advantages, E-learning also has

some disadvantages. While it is true that

offline classes (traditional classroom) gives

students the chance to interact with one another, create personal

connections and exchange ideas. But an online classroom

reduces all these opportunities for collaboration. Online classes

can also eliminate opportunity for a continuous, sustained class

discussion among a potentially diverse student population.

Learning from others and being exposed to different ways of

thinking can be considered a large part of the educational

process. Hence we can conclude that although both E-Learning

and classroom learning have some advantages as well as disad-

vantages, maximum parents like to send their ward to the

classroom for their learning.

nessed a new change brought in by the Corona Pandemic. This year, the number of par-

ticipants in the Republic Day cultural activities has been cut down to avoid overcrowding

and follow social distancing norms in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. All those who

were present over at that juncture, took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of

unity. The chief guests for the day were Mr. Trijit Agarwal, The Director and Mr. Sheel

Saxena, The Principal respectively. The Staff, faculty members and the students filled

with a feeling of patriotism and dedication gathered in front of the building. The celebra-

tion started at 8:50 am with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Director and the

Principal of the School, followed by the national anthem. An elegant speech was deliv-

ered by Shambhavi Patel of
