My dear friends,

Eric Liddell, the famous runner from “Chariots of

Fire”, but more importantly a missionary to China

wrote:

“Circumstances may appear to wreck our lives and God’s plans, but God is not helpless among the ruins. Our broken lives are not lost or useless. God’s love is still working. He comes in and takes the calamity and uses it victoriously, working out His wonderful plan of love.”

What an encouragement as I begin my second year

as a missionary to Africa having enjoyed the

greatest year of my life last year. Let me bring you

up to date since my last Newsletter, so much has

been happening. Enjoy it …

RWANDA

My son Gregg

joined me on my

trip to Rwanda and

what a fantastic

time we had.

I spoke at a Leadership Conference and then

preached in a local Church on the Sunday, a total of

nine sermons in four days!

We were stirred at the end of the Conference as the

Pastors all stood in dedication and sang

“All the Jesus I Surrender” … it was so very moving.

Gregg was brilliant

and they loved him.

UGANDA

We then went on to Uganda, living in a slum for

two days before moving on to one of the largest

Churches in Kampala. I was able to preach twelve

times and was exhausted at the end because at

their meetings one cannot preach for under one

hour.

Pastor Alex then took Gregg and I to the source of

the Nile, wow … one of my great memories

remembering how David Livingstone sadly never

lived to see this.

KMBC GRADUATION

When we got home from our

trip, I went straight from the

Airport to the College and

marked exam papers for eight

hours, in preparation for our

graduation three days later! It

was fantastic … the thrill of

being in Africa and then seeing

our students ready and

equipped for God’s service.

The dream of training Pastors and Missionaries for

Africa burns brighter than ever.

FICKSBERG – DEDICATION OF ST MATTHEWS

The day after Graduation, I was up at 04:00am and

together with four of our students, drove to

Ficksberg arriving there at 09:00am. I was invited

to dedicate their new building and I was so glad

that they had asked me, because I had given them

the steel structure some time ago. We had a

marvelous time. It was such an incredible blessing

to me to see four of our past students, all now

C.E.S.A. ministers serving the Lord faithfully … it

was fantastic!

After a great lunch, I drove the 5-hour journey back

home … wow the pace is hectic, but I love it.

950kms in one day – it was brilliant.

2013

I am so grateful that

four of the Pastors

that I met on my visit

to Rwanda/Uganda

are coming to KMBC

this year for the

Diploma in Missions.

We have an excellent

intake for this year

and I will be teaching

thirty-one lectures a

week.

Then I have

invitations to go to Malawi, Zambia, D.R.C.,

Mozambique and Zimbabwe, so it is all very

exciting, I just need to try and fit it all in, not

forgetting a return trip to Uganda!!

I could not ask for anything more than what God

has so graciously allowed me to do in my work as a

Missionary into Africa – I am so very, very blessed.

Friends this past year has been an incredibly happy

and fulfilling year of being a servant into Africa,

thank you again for supporting me.

Blessings,

Warwick

A quote from Oswald Chambers

“Shut out every other consideration and keep yourself

before God for this one thing only – ‘My Utmost for His

Highest’. I am determined to be absolutely and entirely

for Him and for Him alone.”
