Strengths
My objectives include the building upon an extensive knowledge base in
nursing by obtaining a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree. I believe that
obtaining an advanced degree will enable me to bring about substantially
positive changes in patient’s lives by utilizing the additional knowledge
gained throughout the program, while always recognizing that expanding that
knowledge is a continuous life-long process. Obtaining an advanced nursing
degree will facilitate my ability to have a profound effect on the education of
other nurses, should I decide to pursue a role in academia, thus potentially
advancing the profession of nursing as a whole.
My strengths include an insatiable appetite for acquiring knowledge,
obtaining an immense amount of satisfaction from helping people, a love for
teaching, excellent communication skills, a talent for understanding new
concepts and being able to integrate them into positive action, an infectious
extremely positive attitude, and increased determination when presented with
challenges.
