State-Wide PACE Update: St. Louis Update-David Pickerill: While PACE financing does have
support from regional banks in St. Louis, and is currently sustainable through this method, David believes that its not a long term option for St. Louis.
State wide financing with geographical diversity is the best option for commercial PACE financing in the future.
Kansas City PACE Program: Oct. 17th KC voted unanimously to join the Missouri Clean Energy District
Assessment contracts for PACE are currently issued through the MCED, it is viable because it has no geographic boundaries for issuing the contracts. (not limited to a single municipality). David went on to say that implementing PACE in Missouri will be most successful by implementing the program on a state wide level.

Initial Liaison Meeting Recap Here are some potential questions that you could discuss with
your senator during the meeting: "Would you be willing to cosponsor a bill that would help enforce
Missouri's Statewide Renewable Energy Standard?” Do you or would you support subsidies for cleaner forms of energy? Do you think that Missouri needs to take steps to end its over
dependence on coal? Given that EE is the least cost resource available to utilities, do you
support laws that would require utilities to invest more in energy efficiency?
Also, feel free to include any other issues that you would like to discuss. Thanks and be sure to let me know if you have any other questions, or if I
can assist you in any other way. Thanks for your time!
