Would You Pay $20,000 for This Workbook?
You probably wouldn’t, but that’s how much it’s worth.
Too many developers and designers waste their time (i.e., their client’s money) working on parts of a project that aren’t in line with the client’s vision. Or worse, sometimes developers set out on a project before they even know whether it’s possible or not. If your development team is not absolutely on the same page as you – it’s surprisingly easy to lose $10,000, and even $20,000, on wasted weeks.
We’re not going to do that to you.
That’s why we take a couple extra steps to make sure we understand exactly what you need built. We refuse to make assumptions about what you need or what you’ll like. Being on the same page as you is not good enough; we want to be on the same sentence. It’s the difference of working with you rather than for you.
So don’t spare us any details. The more we understand about your business and your ideas, the more efficient we can be. We perform our entire process this way, keeping you looped in throughout every stage until the final product is tested, approved and ready for release.
Keeping Sight of the Real Goals
Every application is made for a reason. Here at Jackrabbit Mobile, we’ve made a lot of beautiful apps with geniuslevel functionality, but we are most proud of having achieved goals like these for our clients: ∙ Increase sales or funding ∙ Increase traffic to a store, site, or event ∙ Decrease mobile bounce rates ∙ Improve safety operations and training consistency ∙ Reach a wider and/or more targeted audience ∙ Relieve burdens on IT teams ∙ Promote communications with staff and/or clients ∙ Develop better user tracking and analytics reporting ∙ Make data presentation more accurate and easier to read and share ∙ Make enterprise software faster, easier, and more reliable
We’ve developed applications for major corporations, startup communities, business owners, research teams, and marketing leaders. We’ve worked with clients who spent years struggling to develop graphics that simply and accurately represented their data, and were able to come up with easytoread interfaces that perfectly compiled their complex datasets. Here’s what some of our clients say about their experience with Jackrabbit Mobile:
“The quality of their code is very high, they always deliver on time, and their communication with us is clear and reliable.” “Generous with their expertise, expert at their content areas, and a delight to work with. [The] coordination of the project saved time both for me and in the development process overall.” “The final product is always beautiful, functional, and works well.” “The output and the integration of the Jackrabbit Team with our internal team was very easy and effective and helped us reach our goals quickly.”
About Jackrabbit Mobile
Mobile Solutions People Actually Use
It’s not a solution if users don’t like it. Jackrabbit Mobile is a design and development firm that makes mobile applications that solve problems in a userfriendly way. Since March 2012, we have successfully launched apps for some of the best businesses, startups, and universities inside and outside the Texas borders. Our diverse team brings a wide range of critical skills to the table: native iOS and Android development, user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, product management, and proactive account management. We have a tried and true work process that involves a lot of detailed testing and a lot of communication. We’ve worked on apps that have been adopted by major names like Volkswagen and LIVESTRONG, we’ve flown crosscountry and climbed on stage to present technology at our clients’ biggest conferences of the year, and we’ve stayed up late into the night just to make sure a very public launch goes off without technical difficulties. We’re serious about what we do, because we love what we do. Jackrabbit Mobile 701 Brazos St. Ste. #1616 Austin, TX 78701 jackrabbitmobile.com

How to use this Workbook
All great things start from a simple idea. Here are the tools you need.
This workbook is meant to serve as a guide and walk you through the process of turning
your idea into an application. We have simplified the steps that have helped numerous
clients define how their technology will look, feel, and function.
This was designed for everyone, from non-technical founders to experienced developers.
The points are the same, regardless of whether you’re building an enterprise utility or social
game. Answer these questions to the best of your ability and fill in the blanks with detail.
Print as many pages as are needed for the user stories and wireframes.
The goal of this workbook is to build a technical specification and start turning your idea into
reality. If you would like help or have questions, find us at [email protected].

Jackrabbit Mobile User Experience & Interface (UX/UI) Guide
Mobile-First First design your interfaces and features to perform
perfectly on mobile, and then scale up as necessary.
Navigation & Call to Action Think through how users enter your app and navigate through
functionality. Make the call to action obvious and accessible.
Content The best interface is no interface. Emphasize the
content to display and functions users can perform.
Context Consider when and how the app will be used. Is it dark?
Night driving mode. Are they in the subway? Offline access.
Are they downtown? Offer nearby recommendations.
