If we were going to publish an article, there would have been no point in sending it to anyone, therefore we have never emailed your articles to Raila. Similarly we do not email any Star articles to Uhuru if they are going to be published. If you want, I can start emailing you articles about Uhuru that we have decided not to publish. Secondly the Open Society and MI6 agents like Ndungu Wainaina, Wambugu Ngunjiri, John Githongo and Mugambi Kiai who are fellow columnists have written a lot of things about Uhuru Kenyatta. Have you emailed Uhuru the articles so that he may know what is being said about him? If the answers are NO, why would you take liberty to send my intellectual work to the British High Commission and Open Society? Is it professional? Is it ethical? Is it legal? Is it just? Is it right? Regards Moses Sent from my iPhone On Dec 12, 2012, at 17:41, William Pike wrote:

Moses For your information, I did send a copy of your article to the British High Commission and Open Society so that they would know what was being said about them by the Uhuru team. The problem with the article was not the attack on foreign entities, the problem was the factual inaccuracies. And unfortunately it is a fact, as I am sure you well know, that Uhuru and Ruto cannot presently travel to Europe or the USA, or meet or deal with the ambassadors of those countries. William

Strange because about the same time I got an email from the Communications Officer in the British High Commission John Bradshaw that was almost a replica of your email. Was my article shared with the High Commission This is a first. The Star has refused to publish an article from its columnist on the basis of claims against foreign entities I really don't know what to say. "Uhuru, Ruto Banned from Traveling to Europe" May be that one is full of facts ? This was a group decision. We felt that there were too many untruths and half-truths in the article. For instance, your article said that Britain funds the ICC and Open Society, yet all Rome Statute signatories, including Kenya, fund the ICC, and George Soros funds OSIEA while Britain gives it nothing. The article also ignores the fact it was Kenya MPs who preferred the Hague to a local tribunal, and got Annan to pass the Waki envelope to Ocampo. The article is deliberately misleading to plant the idea of a conspiracy in people's minds. We have always run your articles before but it would have been professionally irresponsibile to run this one. Alfie wanted the right of reply on the question of sanctions. Why don't you write something on how sanctions will not be a big issue if Uhuru and Ruto are elected. William
