Message from the Pastor The message of today’s feast is very clear. God has manifested Himself totally and perfectly in Christ. Christ is God’s epiphany. In Christ God’s love has been made manifest. From now

on, whoever sees Christ sees the Father. Now there is a way for those who seek God:

Christ. Brothers and sisters, to seek God with a sincere heart is the purpose of our life.

And we know that He lets Himself be found by those who seek Him. May we encounter

Christ, who always awaits us, in an intimate way in this new year.

Mensaje del Párroco

El mensaje de la fiesta de hoy es muy claro: Dios se ha expresado total y perfectamente en Cristo. Cristo es la epifanía de Dios. En Cristo se ha hecho manifiesto el amor de Dios. De hoy en adelante el que ve a Cristo ve al Padre.

Ahora hay un camino para los que buscamos a Dios: Cristo. Hermanos, buscar a Dios con sincero corazón es la finalidad de nuestra vida. Y sabemos que Él se

deja encontrar por aquellos que le buscan. Que este este año que comienza podamos tener ese encuentro íntimo con Jesús que siempre nos espera.

De nuevo ¡¡¡Feliz Año Nuevo para todos!!!

ONLY ONE CHURCH EXISTS! Experts say there are thousands of religious groups. And that each claims to have

the "truth." According to the Bible, Christ founded a single Church: "You are Peter, or stone, And on this Stone I will build my Church "- MT 16, 18

The Word of God is very clear about it…It does not say the Church or Churches, or their Churches, or anything similar. Research a little more, and you will realize that the only one that Comes from Peter, according to history, is the Catholic Church.

Go a little further, and search the following biblical passages: MT 10, 40 • LC 10, 16 • EF 4, 4-5 • JN 17, 21 GAL 1, 8-9 • 1 COLOR 1, 13-15 • LC 22, 19

And if a CHURCH had not been important to Christ ... Why would he have commanded to celebrate the Eucharist?

Think about it and investigate!

¡SOLAMENTE EXISTE UNA SOLA IGLESIA! Expertos afirman que existen miles de grupos religiosos. Y que cada uno

afirma tener la “verdad”. Según la Biblia, Cristo fundó una sola Iglesia: “Tú eres Pedro, o sea piedra, y sobre esta Piedra edificaré mi Iglesia” - MT 16, 18

La Palabra de Dios está muy clara al respecto… no dice la Iglesia o las Iglesias, ni sus Iglesias, ni nada así parecido. Investiga un poco más, y te darás cuenta que la única que

proviene de Pedro, según la historia, es la Iglesia Católica. Ve un poco más allá, y escudriña los siguientes pasajes bíblicos:

Y si UNA IGLESIA no hubiese sido importante para Cristo… ¿Para qué hubiese mandado a celebrar la Eucaristía?

2017 Archbishop’s Charity and Development Drive (ABCD) Begins

In this new year, please take some time to reflect on the many blessings the Lord has given us in our lives. All we have is a gift from God, so we must be willing to give up some things

so that we can share our blessings as God intended. Pope Francis says, “Charity is born of the call of a God who continues to knock on our doors, the door of all people, to

invite us to love, to compassion, to service of one another… Jesus keeps knocking on our doors, the doors of our lives. He doesn’t do this by magic, with special effects, with flashing lights and fireworks. Jesus keeps knocking on

our door in the faces of our brothers and sisters, in the faces of our neighbors, in the faces of those at our side.” The 201y Archbishop’s Charity and Development Drive, the ABCD, will be held on the weekend of January 21st-22nd.

This is our opportunity to unite together as one Catholic family, to answer the Jesus’ call to help our brothers and sisters in need. In these next two weeks, please take the time to prayerfully reflect on the gifts that you have been

given by God and respond to the ABCD as generously as you possibly can. Your participation is essential to continue to build the Kingdom of God here in south Florida.

En este año nuevo, por favor, tómese un tiempo para reflexionar sobre tantas bendiciones que el Señor nos ha dado en nuestras vidas. Todo lo que tenemos son regalos de Dios, por lo tanto debemos estar dispuesto a renunciar a

algunas cosas para que podamos compartir nuestras bendiciones como Dios manda.

El Papa Francisco dice: "La caridad es fruto de la llamada de un Dios que sigue tocando nuestras puertas. Las puertas de todas las personas; que nos invitan a amar, a la compasión, y a servirnos los unos a los otros. Jesús sigue llamando a nuestras puertas, las puertas de nuestras vidas. Él no lo hace por arte de magia, con efectos especiales,

con luces intermitentes y fuegos artificiales. Jesús sigue llamando a nuestras puertas en el rostro de nuestros hermanos y hermanas, en los rostros de nuestros vecinos, en los rostros de los que están a nuestro lado".

La Campaña de Caridades y Desarrollo del Arzobispo ABCD 2017, el ABCD, se llevará a cabo en el fin de semana del 21 al 22 de enero. Esta es nuestra oportunidad de unirnos como una sola familia católica, y de responder a la

llamada de Jesús para ayudar a nuestros hermanos y hermanas necesitados. En estas próximas dos semanas, por favor, tómese el tiempo necesario para reflexionar en oración sobre los dones que le han sido dado por Dios y para

responder al ABCD tan generosamente como le sea posible. Su participación es esencial para seguir construyendo el Reino de Dios aquí en el sur de La Florida.
