ITTINTERNATIONALTRAINING OF TRAINERS
24 July 2016 – 31 July 2016 Jambville Castle, France
THE INTERNATIONAL TRAINING OF TRAINERS
The context in which many Scout Associations operate, demonstrates an increased need for improving individual and collective competencies of all adults in Scouting. Supporting National Scout Associations to continuously review their training systems according to modern training principles is a key step in achieving that. Simultaneously, the diversity of societal demands affecting adults that volunteer in Scouting raises the need to continuously review and adapt training methods and processes.
In a nutshell, opportunities will be provided for associations to exchange, test and innovate whilst offering each participant opportunities for personal development. Overall, the ITT will enable the strengthening of links between associations and enable the discovery of new approaches and paradigms in World Scouting.
GOAL
The ITT aims at enabling experienced trainers to master the abilities of a training organiser, from designing to operating training systems, in the context of their respective scout association’s orientation and actual issues, having/keeping as an ultimate goal the training and development of adults in Scouting.
