In addition to the equity allocatipn announcement mailed this week, checks totaling some $2 million were mailed to the Dairy-membership of approximately 7.500 dairy farrpers. This cash payment represents 20 percent of members' patronage dividends which were generated by the co-ops' business activities during the past fiscal year. The other 80 percent of patronage dividends are invested-in the cooperative's re-volving equity program.

It has been the cooperative's practice to revolve its members' investment on a five-year cycle. Dairymen is one: of the few cooperatives in tpe nation to revolve its member equity in spch a short period of time.
