It was a nice morning under the nikau tree when: RUMBLE!

“What’s that?”

“Don’t know don’t care but this is really

good coffee I’ll tell you that!”

He asked Perry the pukeko sitting next to him who was guzzling down a flat white.

Tony went outside to investigate the mysterious rumbling noise. Outside the nikau tree there was an endless freshwater river and there were only two trees on the other side whereas yesterday there had been hundreds of thousands.

“I’d better go to Falkazor in his rimu tree.”

When he got there he found Falkazor chanting a mystical series of unusual words.

“What are you doing

Falkazor?”

“Scraffyhowlang, hoola, shoola, hola, hing tell me

what to do to get rid of

these things!”

And on a massive leaf all these symbols appeared. The first image was a bus with several animals on the roof . The next symbol was a ferry and a magnificent island. Falkazor gasped. As he did the little white bauble of fluff on his neck moved up and down crazily. When the news broke out Perry, Mickey and Gordon didn’t really care so it was up to Falkazor and Tony to save themselves and their mates.

“We must journey to the Great Small Island

before everyone notices that their lives are at stake from all

the coffee and earthmoving machines.”

“That’s a sport where they kill fish.” “Humans are

scary”

The next day Falkazor and Tony tempted everyone onto a Ritchie's bus where they travelled to a big human holding a massive stick with a fish pierced on the end. Falkazor said:

They reached a wharf and jumped off the bus and then found their way onto a 360 Discovery boat. Falkazor said:

“That land is where all the coffee in the world is made. There’s long blacks, cappuccinos, flat whites and all the coffee in the world!”

Everyone shouted. And finally the boat stopped and they were where they belonged - TiriTiri Matangi.
