Gerät anschließen und montieren

GEFAHR!Bei Anschließen der Bus-/Nebenstellen-und Netzspannungsadern in einergemeinsamen Gerätedose kann dieKNX-Busleitung mit Netzspannung inBerührung kommen.Die Sicherheit der gesamten KNX-Installation wird gefährdet. Personenkönnen auch an entfernten Geräteneinen elektrischen Schlag erhalten.Bus-/Nebenstellen- undNetzspannungsklemmen nicht in einemgemeinsamen Anschlussraumplazieren. Gerätedose mit festerTrennwand (Bild 3) oder separate Dosenverwenden.

Safety instructionsElectrical equipment may only be installed andfitted by electrically skilled persons.Failure to observe the instructions may causedamage to the device and result in fire and otherhazards.The device is not suitable for disconnection fromsupply voltage.Do not connect any external voltage to theinputs, since doing so may damage the device(s), and the SELV potential on the KNX bus linewill no longer be available.For parallel connection of several drives to anoutput it is essential to observe thecorresponding instructions of the manufacturers,and to use a cut-off relay if necessary. There isotherwise risk of irreparable damage to thedrives.Use only shutter drives with mechanical orelectronic limit switches. Check the limitswitches for correct adjustment. Observe thespecifications of the motor manufacturers.These instructions are an integral part of theproduct, and must remain with the end customer.

FunctionSystem informationThis device is a product of the KNX system andcomplies with the KNX directives. Detailed technicalknowledge obtained in KNX training courses is aprerequisite to proper understanding. The function of this device depends upon thesoftware. Detailed information on loadable softwareand attainable functionality as well as the softwareitself can be obtained from the manufacturer´sproduct database.

Planning, installation and commissioning of thedevice are carried out with the aid of KNX-certifiedsoftware. Full functionality with KNX commissioningsoftware version ETS3.0d onwards. An updated version of the product database,technical descriptions and conversion programs andother auxiliary programs are available on our Internetwebsite.

Fitting and electrical connection

Connecting and fitting the device

DANGER!When connecting the bus/extensionsand mains voltage wires in a sharedappliance box, the KNX bus line maycome into contact with the mainsvoltage.This endangers the safety of the entireKNX installation. People at remotedevices may also receive an electricshock.Do not place bus/extensions and mainsvoltage terminals in a sharedconnection compartment. Use anappliance box with a fixed partition wall(Figure 3) or separate boxes.
