W hen the believer enters the adult spiritual life, this is the greatest danger area for being distracted from your spiritual life by the arrogance skills and becoming a loser
believer. As the believer advances to spiritual maturity the vulnerability factor should normally decrease. However, the advancing believer is not free from the danger of entering perpetual carnality and becoming a loser believer. The tragedy is the fact that the spiritually adult believer distorts truth and error into a system
from which the strongest loser believers cannot extract themselves. All too often the adult believer adopts emotion both as the criterion and the modus operandi of the spiritual life. The strong believer
begins his decline by applying experience and emotion to doctrine. This is the reverse of using the problem solving devices. The greater sign that the adult believer is about to fail and become a loser believer is when emotion becomes the criterion for the spiritual life. Emotion becomes a pseudo problem solving device. God has never given us any emotional solution to any problem.
There are two major distractions to the spiritual life of the believer. Both have a high risk rate as the believer enters spiritual adulthood. The first is emotion as the criterion for the spiritual life, when it is obvious that the spiritual life is a system of thinking. The second is trying to solve a problem by the use of another problem instead of the true function of your problem solving devices. For example, using emotion to solve the problem of sin and adding it to rebound.
Adult believers peel off from thinking doctrine. They think differently on some point of doctrine through negative volition, mental attitude sins, the arrogance skills and lack of function of the rebound technique. God reveals this to the adult believer through divine discipline. Instead of solving the problem by true rebound, he adds the pseudo rebound of feeling sorry for the sin or ignoring rebound. This continues to intensify the problem and leads to greater sinning. Instead of solving the problem, he adds the three arrogance skills, further intensifying the problem. Perpetuated carnality guarantees the loss of everything you have gained in the spiritual life.
You cannot reach spiritual maturity without having a personal sense of destiny. It is a wonderful feeling to know that you have arrived without being arrogant or vain, yet you do have a sense of destiny.
You are not in any way influenced by the worst things that happen to believers; e.g., arrogant self-righteousness, pious hypocrisy, legalism, human good rather than divine good, crusader arrogance, and all the other functions of pseudo-spirituality. Instead, you have maximum grace orientation to life; maximum dependence upon the grace policy of God, therefore eliminating human dynamics as having any part of the spiritual life; and maximum utilization of the unique features of the great power experiment of the Church Age. You live within your human limitations in life. You live within the limitations of your environment, and you do so without embarrassment, regret, inordinate ambition, or inordinate competition. You have a dynamic spiritual life (not necessarily a dynamic personality) which glorifies God in every circumstance.

Elmarlin “Inday” U. Sague was diagnosed with lymphoma
in 2013 and went to be face to face with the Lord in 2014.
Knowing her days in time were numbered, she composed
notes which reflected her mental attitude as she faced
eternity. Composing was not new to her since she was the
church secretary of Grace Christian Church up to the time
of her departure. These notes were recorded and written at
random from 2013 to 2014. Here some excerpts:
MOTIVATION IS EVERYTHING:
Bona fide, properly motivated production is a natural
consequence of a mental attitude constantly renewed by
doctrine, oriented to grace and occupied with the Lord Jesus
Christ. Our Lord as Judge goes straight to the heart of the
matter, rewarding the cause, not the results.
GOD’S TIMING - LIFE OF JOSEPH “THE DREAMER”:
Arrogance is when you react to sarcasm, or react to other
people’s ideas that are contrary to yours, or react to
principles that expose your reaction, or your refusal to listen
to other people’s point of view. The people who are most special to you are the very
same people who subjects you to thought and people testing. So, recall the doctrinal principles regarding priorities. Is it God emphasis (stay in your own palace) or people emphasis (stay in the dungeon).
The believer who obeys the mandates of God allows the omnipotence of God to advance and bless him through
perfect justice.
******
Where the believer has reception and retention but no recall of doctrine for application, divine discipline SOLVES THE PROBLEM BY DIRECTING the believer to CONCENTRATE ON DOCTRINE
while in a humanly hopeless situation. (To Page 4)

DIVINE DISCIPLINE IS A PRIVATE TUTOR OF THE ONE IN PAIN.
MINISTRY UPDATES
4 Gracean Herald July - December 2014
INDAY ELMARLIN’S VICTORY (From page 3)
****** GOD TEACHES—and all of us learn—sometimes, through suffering.
****** Spiritual concentration may be difficult from time to time, but it is nothing compared to receiving divine discipline.
******* God’s punishment reminds the negative believer of what is really important in life.
***** Living in all forms of arrogance is a life of deceit. The only way God can break through this is with pain that strikes the degenerate believer IN HIS PARTICULAR AREA OF SENSITIVITY hitting arrogance where it hurts the most
and thereby being most effective. *****
If bad decisions are not remedied by the good decisions of rebound and executing the protocol plan of God, the believer sinks deeper into the cosmic system until God unceremoniously expels him from this life.
***** Whatever suffering remains after rebound is designed for blessing. Restored to residence in his palace, the
believer is now in a position to apply divine assets he has and to benefit from utilizing God’s resources under pressure.
**** The purpose of divine discipline in punitive suffering is HEALING. God is like a surgeon who must cause pain to
set a fracture or to perform life-saving surgery. He gives to WHAT CONTRIBUTES more to our blessing and happiness. In discipline God gives us EXACTLY what our cosmic status requires.
***** PHILIPPIANS 3:12-14 (CORRECTED TRANSLATION)
“Not that I have already received [the exit-resurrection], nor have I already accomplished [the protocol plan], but I keep advancing toward the objective, in order that I may truly understand that purpose for which I was also truly understood by Christ Jesus. Brethren, I do not evaluate myself to have attained the objective; but one thing I do, on the one hand disregarding those things which are behind, but on the other hand sprinting toward those things
which are ahead, I keep advancing toward the objective for the prize of that upward call from God [escrow blessings] in Christ Jesus.”
***** If as a believer, I trusted Christ for the big thing—salvation, can I not trust Him for the needs, the problems, and
difficulties arising in everyday life? *****
Lord, it is You who has led me to this “dried up brook” and one thing sure is You have prepared everything I need to face this and I can say You are my shepherd I will not lack anything.
***** God not only planned in eternity past to let Jesus Christ take our place by going to the cross and dying for our
sins, but God also had already planned in antecedent grace by providing this wonderful moment by moment rest. All that is required is for us to walk in step with the Spirit by faith.

ngadto sa atong isig ka tawo. Kini nga mga

Pero kasagaran nato karong panahona, kon

Apan labaw pa gyud nga maoy ganahan
natong mga tawo mao kining paghibalo sa
kinabuhi sa ubang tawo, higala man o dili higala,
ug sa walay pag-ila nga naay pay mas importante
nga mga pagtulun-an nga kinahanglan unta nga
atong mahibaloan ug makat-onan.

SPIRITUALITY VERSUS MORALITY
By Evangelist Vic Balbido
There are two major kinds of people on the face of this earth. One kind
are UNBELIEVERS, the other are BELIEVERS in the Lord Jesus Christ.
There are also two kinds of UNBELIEVERS; 1) Religious, self-righteous,
respectable (commonly called “good people”); 2) Lascivious, promiscuous,
immoral (commonly called “bad people”).
These UNBELIEVERS are unsaved. And they are called “unbelievers”
because they reject Christ as Lord and Savior. They ignore and reject God’s
mandate in Acts 16:31 which says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and
thou shalt be saved.”
The second kind of people are BELIEVERS, and there are also two kinds of believers, namely:
Winner believers, and Loser believers. These BELIEVERS are saved. They are called “believers”
because they have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior following God’s Word
in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His Only begotten Son, that whosoever
believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” Likewise, they believed in God’s Word in
John 3:36 which says, “He who believes in the Son has life, but he who does not believe in the Son
does not have life but the wrath of God abides on him.”
Statistically speaking, BELIEVERS are the minority while UNBELIEVERS are the majority
as what Matthew 7:13 and 14 delineate: “Wide and easy is the gate that leads to DESTRUCTION,
and MANY are entering into it; but the road is narrow and the way is hard that leads to LIFE, and
only FEW are entering into it.” BELIEVERS are only remnants!
You see, as an analogy, a believer in Jesus Christ is likened to a person who has divorced his
first husband, the Old Sin Nature, and now it is Christ who is his new husband. That believer, we
should understand here does partake the death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and session of Christ!
Now, please understand this point of doctrine. SPIRITUALITY IS ONE THING, WHILE
MORALITY IS ANOTHER THING! When we talk about morality, it is for both believers and
unbelievers, while spirituality is for true believers only!
There are actually two kinds of spirituality of a believer, namely: True spirituality --- Only by
means of the control of God, the Holy Spirit; False spirituality -- Any kind of false spirituality which
is apart from the control of the Holy Spirit. An unbeliever who hears the Gospel (Truth of Salvation)
but refuses to believe it, is likened to a dog that returns to its own vomit ( 2 Peter 2:22). Do you
know what? Unbelievers are the most miserable, most unhappy, most confused people in the world!
What’s worst? Unbelievers do not like themselves because they have a very low self-esteem.
Unbelievers have no capacity for life, thus they are just wasting their time, their ability, and their
opportunity in life. They have miserably reached their “point of no return.”!!
But on the other hand, believers are the heirs of God and the joint heirs of Christ. All believers
are ETERNAL WINNERS because they have a personal relationship with the God of the universe
forever through FAITH ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!
Believers are even compared to sheeps. Christ is the Shepherd, believers are sheeps. Psalms
23:1 says, “The Lord is my Shepherd.” (Corrected translation: “The Lord is the One Shepherding
me.”)
