This week has been another busy one with our parent interviews, Remembrance Day
Service and Children and Need/Diabetes onesie assembly. Thank you to all the parents
and children who attended our parent interviews and for all the positive and helpful
comments. We are committed as a school to give your children the best possible learning
and teaching and it is really important that we share the children’s work and progress
with parents and work on any feedback given.
Thank you to John Walker for doing our Remembrance Assembly, Miss Paterson’s class
for the wreath and poem, Mrs Denham for the song and to Mrs Proctor/Mrs Campbell for
their poems which were read so beautifully.
Today was a lovely assembly with everyone looking so beautiful in their onesies for
Diabetes. The pupil council did a great job in organising and running the assembly so
smoothly and to the Rights Respecting Group for their input on Diabetes.
Further to us asking for parental nominations for local people who were ‘Champions for
Change’ in Inverurie, we had some special guests who were awarded a trophy.

P7 Making Pizza
On Thursday 5th November
Primary 7D went to Pizza
Express in Aberdeen to make
their own pizzas. They have been
using their Masterclass time to
learn how to cook a variety of
healthy homemade meals and
used their learning in school to
support them in a MUCH BIGGER
kitchen. We’ll be chefs in no
time!

Unfortunately we had many children not return their permission slips to be part of our
mosaic photo, as the number was equivalent to about 2 classes we did not feel we could
take this project forward at this time. Hopefully we will try again in the future.

were lots of very excited

What a wonderful
