Street Soccer

During Term 3 the grade 5/6’s have been playing a “Street Soccer” competition during lunch times and re-cesses. This competition has been an excellent way for our students and teachers to build positive relation-ships through the game of soccer. The senior students have developed leadership, team work, physical edu-

cation, social and mathematical skills through the competition. The students umpire, score and run the competition with teacher guidance and assistance. The program has been running for 6 weeks. “It’s a fun, fair and safe game to play at lunch. I like the ladders and how the goals are set up.” Hassan 5/6R.
