3) Group Activity:Your teacher will give you a bag of coins. Your teacher will hold up objects in front of the class. Estimate the price of objects that your teacher is holding, and use the coins to count out the price of the object.

Who is ready to earn some money?

You are going to earn some “money” by successfully completing some Destiny searches in your library class.

Use this Scavenger Hunt handout to track your Destiny Search items and add up your earnings.

When you are finished your scavenger hunt, add up the money you have earned and use the money to buy something from the library. Your teacher will tell you what kinds of items are “on sale”.

Or, you can save your money and use it another time.
