You cannot be more productive or organized than your personal energy allows. We’ve all heard about putting on our oxygen masks first, and then assisting others. How many times have you said, or heard, “fill your cup up so you can fill the cup up of others”?

Make a list of what kinds of things relax you. Schedule time in your calendar to:• Meditate• Stare at the sky• Garden• Read• Listen to calming music• Have a massage or steam

What energizes you?

Make a list of what kinds of things lift you up, and create a plan to keep your energy levels high. Schedule time in your calendar to:• Work out • Practice yoga• Dance• Sing• Run• Play with a child or pet

What drains you?

What specific things drain your energy? What do you dislike doing? • Paperwork• Housework• Marketing your business• Managing your social media

Choose one energy giving activity to add to your schedule and one energy depleting activity to delete from your schedule.

Follow through!

How are you going to make sure you follow through? The easiest thing to “bump” from our

schedules is time spent on ourselves. Plan for this.
