TICKETS | Raffle tickets are $20 each or 6 for $100. Must be 18 years of age or older to purchase tickets. Void where prohibited by law. No more than 10,000

tickets will be sold and no more than 10,000 tickets will be entered into the drawing. Ticket sales will begin on or after August 18, 2016. Raffle tickets must be

purchased no later than Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.

Raffle tickets will be entered into the drawing on a first-come first-served basis in the order received by the IPSF. Completed Ticket Request Forms must be

accompanied by valid payment to be eligible. Any Ticket Request Forms received with payment after 10,000 tickets have been sold or after 5:00 p.m. on November

1, 2016 will be returned. All sales transactions are final. No refunds are available. Once issued, tickets cannot be changed, sold or transferred by the purchasing

party or anyone else.

HOW TO PURCHASE | Tickets may be purchased by mail to: Irvine Public Schools Foundation, 1 Post #250, Irvine, CA 92618; or by fax at 949-265-8343; or in

person from an authorized seller. An official Ticket Request Form may be downloaded from the IPSF website www.ipsf.net. Raffle tickets cannot be sold over the

internet or via email. Payments for raffle tickets may be made by credit card or cash.

PRIZE DRAWING | The Prize drawing will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016. The Prize is a two years lease of a brand new 2016 Kia Optima LX in snow white pearl valued at $10,053.64, including tax and license fees. The Multi-Ticket Prize is a $1,000 gift card to Irvine Spectrum Center. OFFICIAL RULES IPSF 20th Anniversary Raffle These Official Rules govern the conduct of the Raffle and are binding on everyone who buys and/or is named on a Raffle ticket. By purchasing a Raffle ticket, the buyer, and the person named as Raffle ticket holder if different, agree to be bound by these Official Rules. ELIGIBILITY A Raffle ticket buyer, and the person named as the Raffle ticket holder if different, must be 18 years of age or older at the time of purchase. Void where prohibited by law. The following individuals, and persons living in the same household of the following individuals, are not eligible to participate: regular employees of Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF) and employees of IPSF that are responsible for administering the Raffle. Regular employees shall include, but are not limited to, those individuals employed throughout the year by IPSF in connection with programs supporting the Irvine Unified School District. Independent contractors and seasonal employees, such as instructors in the Afterschool Classroom Enrichment Program or Summer Enrichment Academy are not regular employees and are eligible to purchase tickets. Raffle tickets may NOT be purchased in the name of a business, trust, corporation or any other entity. TICKETS Raffle tickets are $20 each or 6 for $100. No more than 10,000 tickets will be sold and no more than 10,000 tickets will be entered into the drawing. Ticket sales will begin on or after August 18, 2016. Raffle tickets must be purchased no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 (the “Final Deadline”). Only one name may be entered on each Raffle ticket. If this rule is disregarded and more than one name is entered, the first person named on the form will be entered on the Raffle ticket. Division of the prize by a group purchasing a ticket shall be the sole responsibility of the person named as the winner. Altered tickets will be automatically disqualified. Raffle tickets will be entered into the drawing on a first-come first-served basis in the order received by IPSF. Completed Ticket Request Forms must be accompanied by valid payment to be eligible. A purchase of six or more tickets in a single transaction will also be entered into a separate drawing for a Multi-Ticket Prize. One Multi-Ticket Drawing ticket for the named ticket holder will be entered in the Multi-Ticket Drawing for the Multi-Ticket Prize for each set of six tickets purchased. To be eligible for the Multi-Ticket Drawing, raffle tickets must be purchased at the same time and have the same named ticket holder and billing address. Purchases of raffle tickets are not tax-deductible contributions. The IRS states that amounts paid for chances in raffles, lotteries or similar drawings for valuable prizes are not deemed as donations or gifts and consequently do not qualify as deductible charitable donations. PAYMENT Valid payments for raffle tickets may be made by credit card or cash. If a credit card transaction is declined for any reason, the ticket purchase is null and void. Charge backs made by credit card companies shall automatically disqualify the entrant. IPSF reserves the right to reject any entry form that is submitted with payment that does not constitute “valid payment” as determined in IPSF’s discretion. IPSF has no responsibility for notifying anyone who attempts to buy a ticket without valid payment. PRIZE DRAWING The Prize drawing will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at noon at the Kia of Irvine dealership located at 45 Oldfield, Irvine, CA 92618. The Grand Prize is a two-year lease of a brand new 2016 Kia Optima LX in snow white pearl valued at $10,053.64, including vehicle tax and license fees. There is no cash alternative to the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner is responsible for all state and federal taxes, and any other taxes and fees payable as a result of winning the Grand Prize. Payment of applicable taxes and fees will be required at the time of transfer of the Grand Prize to the winner. Ticket purchasers understand and agree that Grand Prize winner must pay to IPSF, by means of cash, cashier’s check, or money order, prior to the time of the receipt of the Grand Prize, estimated federal income tax withholding of $2,513.412 (25% of value) and estimated California income tax withholding of

$703.75 (7% of value). IPSF will deposit the amounts paid for withholding with the appropriate taxing authorities. In January 2017 winner will receive a W2-G from IPSF documenting the Grand Prize value and taxes withheld. This withholding is required by the taxing authorities whenever a raffle prize is valued at $5,000 or more. The additional costs of leasing a car, including but not limited to insurance, are the winner’s sole responsibility. The Grand Prize Winner has ten business days after the Prize drawing to show required proof of identity, execute required affidavit of eligibility, and deposit required taxes and fees. If winner does not provide these requirements within the ten business days, the winner will be automatically and irrevocably deemed to have elected not to receive the Grand Prize. If the winner is deemed to have elected not to receive the Grand Prize or chooses to decline the Grand Prize, or if eligibility or identity is unable to be verified, an alternate winner will be identified. At the time of the Prize drawing four additional tickets will be drawn and labeled #2, #3, and so on in the order drawn. The new Grand Prize winner will be the next ticket drawn in sequence The Multi-Ticket Prize is a $1,000 gift card to Irvine Spectrum Center. There is no cash alternative to the Multi-Ticket Prize. The Multi-Ticket Prize winner is responsible for all state and federal taxes, and any other taxes and fees payable as a result of winning the Multi-Ticket Prize. In January 2017 winner will receive a W2-G from IPSF documenting the Multi-Ticket Prize value. All winners will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity and appearance release permitting IPSF to use their name, photograph, likeness and voice for promotional purposes in any media. All winners are required to present proof of identity satisfactory to IPSF, in IPSF’s sole discretion, matching the name on the winning ticket, and proof of Social Security Number or Taxpayer ID consistent with the name on the winning ticket. SELECTION OF WINNERS & ODDS OF WINNING The winning tickets will be drawn at random at the date specified above from all eligible raffle tickets entered. Ticket purchaser does not have to be present to win. Odds of winning the Grand Prize will be better than or equal to1 in 10,000. Odds will improve if fewer than 10,000 tickets are sold. The name and city of residence of the winner will be posted on the IPSF website. The name and city of residence of the winner may be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Irvine Public Schools Foundation, 1 Post #250, Irvine, CA 92618.
