Next Generation luminaire monitoring and control

Mit der neuen Wireless Professional wird die Steuerung und

Überwachung von Einzelbatterie Not- und Sicherheitsleuchten zum

Kinderspiel! Zur Installation der Leuchten ist lediglich die normale

Spannungsversorgung mit 230V AC nötig. Die anschließende

Installation des Funksystems zur Überwachung und Steuerung der

Leuchten erledigt sich von selbst.

Jede mit Wireless Professional ausgerüstete Leuchte kann auf

der europaweit zugelassenen Frequenz von 868 MHz Kontakt mit

anderen Leuchten oder mit der Zentrale aufnehmen und ihren eige-

nen sowie den Status anderer im System angemeldeter Leuchten

übertragen. Die Reichweite innerhalb von Gebäuden beträgt dabei

garantiert 30m. Durch die Funkfrequenz von 868 MHz stellt auch

eine Stahlbetondecke zwischen zwei Etagen kein unüberwindbares

Hindernis dar.

Das Funksystem kann pro Zentrale 250 Leuchten umfassen und ist

erweiterbar in 250er Schritten. Es organisiert sich ad hoc vollständig

von selbst. Eine Wireless Professional Leuchte nimmt automatisch

Kontakt zu allen erreichbaren Knotenpunkten auf. Dies können

andere Leuchten, Repeater oder die Zentrale selbst sein.

Die in mehreren Sprachen verfügbare zentrale Steuerungssoftware

ermöglicht das Abspeichern von Gebäudeplänen und kann auf einem

bestehenden Windows-System installiert werden. Die angemeldeten

Leuchten können auf dem Plan platziert werden und erscheinen dort

mit ihrem aktuellen Status.

Viele der für Wireless Professional verfügbaren Leuchten sind per

Funk schaltbar. In der Zentrale kann so z.B. ein Zeitplan hinterlegt

werden um die Notbeleuchtung in einem am Wochenende ungenutz-

ten Gebäude komplett zu deaktivieren oder in Bereitschaftsmodus

zu versetzen. Dadurch spart die Wireless Professional sogar Energie

und die Sicherheit bleibt trotzdem gewährleistet.

Wireless Professional Leuchten sind überaus unauffällig. Selbst

in Edelstahl- oder Aluminiumgehäusen kommt die Funktechnologie

ohne sichtbare Antennen aus.

The wireless system can include 250 luminaires per central control

nodes: other luminaires, repeaters or the central control unit itself.

The software for the central unit is available in several languages,

allows the storage of building maps and can be installed on an existing

map and appear with their current status.

Many of the available Wireless Professional luminaires can be switched

by radio. A timetable stored in the central unit makes it possible to

disable the emergency lights in an unused building at the weekend or

put them in standby mode. Thus, the Wireless Professional saves energy

and even the security is guaranteed anyway.

Wireless Professional lights are very inconspicuous. Even in stainless

steel or aluminum cases the radio technology works without any visible

antennas.

IO-Box

Die IO-Box ist ein Interface-Modul des automatischen Prüfsystems

für Sicherheitsbeleuchtung Wireless Professional, dessen Ein- und

Ausgänge Zustände an das Prüfsystem bzw. Zustände der Sicher-

heitsbeleuchtungsanlage signalisieren. Die IO-Box verfügt über 3

Ausgänge in Form von potenzialfreien Wechslerkontakten, von denen

der Kontakt K1 zur Signalisierung der Sammelstörung verwendet wird.

Die anderen beiden Kontakte, K2 und K3, können mittels der Wirel-

ess Professional Software frei programmiert werden, um Anlagenzu-

stände wie z.B. „Anlage in Betrieb“, „Ruhe-Zustand“ oder „Störung“

zu signalisieren oder einzelne Leuchten bzw. Gruppen zu schalten.

Jedem Ausgangsrelais ist eine LED zugeordnet welche anzeigt, ob ein

Relais angezogen ist.

Desweiteren sind 2 galvanisch getrennte Schalteingänge vorhan-

den, um Steuersignale und/oder Sensorsignale einzubinden, wie

z.B. von einem externem Testtaster oder einem Schlüsselschalter.

Jedem Eingang ist eine LED zugeordnet welche anzeigt, dass eine

Schaltspannung am Eingang anliegt. Die IO-Box verfügt über einen

Hilfsspannungsausgang von 24 Volt, der zum Ansteuern der Eingänge

oder zum Beaufschlagen der Ausgänge verwendet werden kann. Im

Anschlussbeispiel ist eine mögliche Verwendung, hier in Verbindung

mit einer Brandmeldezentrale (BMZ) dargestellt.

Die IO-Box ist zur Montage auf einer Hutschine in einem Schalt-

schrank vorgesehen. Die Informationsübertragung von der IO Box zur

Wireless Professional Zentrale erfolgt kabellos.

The IO-box is an interface module of the automatic test and control

system for emergency lighting Wireless Professional, whose inputs

and outputs signalise states and conditions of and to the test

and control system. The IO-box has 3 outputs in form of potential-

free changeover contacts, of which contact 1 is used for a system

disturbance combined fault indication. The other two contacts can

be programmed by means of the Wireless Professional software, in

order to signalise various system states such as last test - failure,

and operating status or switch single luminaires or groups. An LED

is allocated to each output relay which signalises whether the relay

is triggered.

Furthermore, there are 2 galvanically isolated switch inputs to integ-

rate control and/or sensor signals of e.g. an external test pushbutton

or a key switch. An LED is allocated to each input to signalise that

a switch voltage is applied to it. The IO-box has an auxiliary voltage

output which provides an auxiliary voltage that can be used to ener-

gise the inputs. The auxiliary voltage can be used as shown in the

connection example.

The IO-box is designed for mounting on a hat rail in a switching cabi-

net. The information transfer from the IO-box to the Wireless Profes-

sional centre is cordless.

Das MLE500 ist ein elektronisches Schaltnetzteil zum Betrieb von

Alle Schaltarten sind möglich. Der Netzwächter erlaubt den Betrieb

Als Verbraucher können LED-Leuchtmittel mit einer max. Leistung

Möglichkeit die Leuchtmittel im Netzbetrieb auf 30% bzw. 50% zu

Das WRX Notlichtelement beinhaltet eine automatische SELFCON-

TROL. Alle sieben Tage wird ein Test

automatisch durchgeführt. Die Funktion des Gerätes wie auch die

Lampe und die Batterie werden während zwei Minuten geprüft.

Zusätzlich wird jeweils alle 50 Wochen ein Brenndauertest mit

durchgeführt.

• Mikroprozessor gesteuerte zyklische Ladung der NiMH-Batterie,

dadurch bis 30% längere Lebensdauer.

• Akkus sind isoliert. Somit kann eine Batterie auch mit vorhan-

denem Netz gewechselt werden

• EVG-Abschaltung bei Lampendefekt oder Lampenwechsel

• Nicht einsetzbar für Lampen mit eingebautem Starter.

Universal self-contained Emergency Lighting Inverter with automatic

self testing operation complying with EN62034 for all 4-pin fl uore-

scent lamps from 6 to 80 Watt.

Suitable for non-maintained or maintained operation with all electro-

nic and conventional ballasts.

The inverters include an automatic self testing facility. Every seven

days the units will automatically initiate a self test by switching on the

emergency lamp(s) for 2 minutes to prove correct functioning of the

lamp(s) and battery. Additionally every 50 weeks from the unit being

installed a full rated duration test will be performed.

• Compact dimensions - (21mm high) and very low heat dissipation.

• Battery charging - As soon as the batteries are charged, the char-

ging operation would be control cyclical. With this the life cycle of

the NiMH-Batteries would be prolonged about 30%.

• 5 pole technology - The lamp is fully isolated from the electronic

ballast in emergency operation (4-pole relay). Additionally the mains

supply of the electronic ballast is also cut during emergency (1-pole

relay). Due to microprocessor control of all the relay timing, the unit

is compatible to all types of electronic ballast (1- up to 4 lamps

ballasts).

• Full compliance with EMC requirements in emergency operation

- complete isolation from the mains during emergency means the

units comply with the EMC regulation in emergency operation as

well as in mains operation.

• Can not be used for lamps with integrated starter.
