Customer's Remarks Feedback

Engineer should select the Product service status, in case of doubt on warranty check for tax invoice copy and attach a copy with Service Report, if tax invoice copy is not available with customer, it should be billable to customer. Select the type of call for which Engineer has visited. If Engineer has visited for PM and find some problem with Unit, he should select both the option.

Engineer should write the problem reported by customer to CST and validate with actual problem found at site, write both with separate description Reported, Found.

Engineer should write his travel time from his office to customer place and time of Product down (not able to power up load), and Service Request No. (which is logged by customer)

Engineer should check the battery physical condition, leakage due to transit damage is not covered under warranty, in case of corrosion found on battery terminal, clean this properly and apply petroleum jelly on terminals, if required change the battery cable. Mention that if gravity of cells are not equal, have you done gravity equalization by exchanging electrolyte from one cell to other.

Engineers should write only in case of Sine Wave LUPS (Select the option Dry only if battery is completely dry, if it has electrolyte level complete or less mention as ok and fill the distill water in case of less. Mention that electrolyte level found less in Remarks for Battery with Battery Sr. No. and Cell No.)Engineer should write charger operation condition when he reached at site, LUPS was in boost or float mode of charge (For HI - Fan will work in Boost mode and be in OFF in float mode, for BI - Fan will work on high speed on boost mode and will work on low speed on Float mode.)Engineer should check the Inverter by disconnecting battery during mains operation and it should give fault indication after few seconds for battery disconnect with keep the load ON on mains. Check the float charging voltage.

Engineer should write earlier SR No. of same customer and brief detail of problem faced earlier by customer, highlight if same failure repeated and try to find the real cause of repeat failure.

Engineer should mention Installation Date of Inverter and if any new battery is given during warranty period, mentioned new battery installation date also.Engineer should mention earlier PMs done at customer site by asking customer and suggest customer to log in future calls or check with Call Center if any PM has been scheduled for his. Not Working on mains 1. Check for Input Voltage between 100 - 290 Vac.

2. Check for sensitivity setting for upper transfer setting

3. Check for input breaker trip.

4. Check input voltage in Input Connector.

Not working on Battery 1. Check for Battery Voltage.

2. Switch Unit to battery with less / No load to check overload condition.

3. Check for Battery Cable tightness

4. Check if Battery is in discharged condition

5. Check if Battery is defective (Cell Open)

6. Check if Battery has become weak.

Fault Indication but working on mains 1. Check if Battery is disconnected.

2. Check if Battery connection is loose.

3. Check if Fan is working (while UPS is on Battery)

4. Check if Unit can work without battery (disconnect battery and check)

5. Check if the charger voltage is OK.

Less backup 1. Check for Battery Charge Condition

2. Check for Battery Aging

3. Check for electrolyte Gravity.

4. Check for previous history of battery service.

5. Check for Power Condition (failure frequency and failure duration)

Test Method On Mains - Input Voltage should be in between 100 - 290 Vac.

Disconnect the Battery and UPS should still work with load.

Check for Charging Voltage.

On Battery - Switch ON the load connected with inverter.

Switch OFF the input supply, Inverter should support load on

battery, in case of overload, customer should be suggested

to disconnect access load attached on inverter wiring.

with Age of Battery, previous service history and Power Condition, Battery Backup will come down, it is not a

manufacturing defect and Battery should not be replaced.
