The Interprofessional Student Hotspotting Learning Collaborative is an annual program

that trains interdisciplinary teams of students from schools around the country to apply a patient-

centered approach in working with individuals with complex medical and social needs.

Preceptors trained by the coalition coach

teams through difficult patient cases or

system barriers.

The kick off and wrap up events offer the

opportunity to connect with preceptors and

other student hotspotting teams.

PARTICIPATION

• Separate applications for each team

• First team: $4,000 fee

• Additional team: $2,000

• Travel costs for events

• One team member and one faculty member to attend kick off and wrap up event.

• It is recommended that schools provide student teams with a small budget for costs incurred as part of their work with patients

• Commit to 5-10 hours a week

• Costs: $500-750,000/year

The final deadline for applications is April 28th, 2017.

Final notifications will be sent out on May 19th. Be sure to read the requirements carefully
