Increase your productivity by creating practice-specific templates for routine encounters. By using Microsoft® Office WordTM as your text editor, you can choose exactly what patient data to link to within an exam note. You can also type unique comments directly into an exam note to better document special or unusual cases.

During an exam, each template dynamically pulls patient-specific data directly into the note from the clinical database. gloEMR uses industry standards to flow demographic and clinical information between gloEMR and other leading clinical and practice management systems.

With a single click, you have complete patient history at the ready: medications, labs, orders and more. Make better decisions because you choose exactly what patient data to link to an exam note.

Integrated document management and data transfer

gloEMR 4.0 also features a complete document management system to help you and your staff transition to a paperless office. gloEMR simplifies practice workflow by scanning and storing all paper documents electronically so you can reference historical information as you develop a paperless chart management system.

Use voice dictation to capture specific details during each patient encounter. While you dictate, gloEMR precisely places your comments, in real time, into exam notes.

Voice recognition also lets you add commonly used content—from treatment plans to consent orders—to an exam note. All you have to do is cue the content to ‘tag’ onto the note with a single voice command. You can also note patient encounters; print prescriptions and educational materials; enter diagnosis and procedure codes; place orders for diagnostic tests like CT scans, MRIs and x-rays; and fax referral letters.

It’s never been easier to save time, shorten exams and automate repetitive or common tasks. Speaking a single voice command closes a note or sends a referring doctor a status message on the spot. gloEMR voice recognition also eliminates the need for costly transcription services.
