DESCRIPTIONINTOMASSO THERMO is a premixed lightened screed at compensated shrinkage with an high and constant quality level, produced with an automated system, for the realization of insulating base coat screeds for interiors and exteriors.

COMPOSITIONHydraulic binders, light mineral aggregates (perlite), selected calcareous aggregates in curve with a grading from 0 to 2 mm, natural additives tested for the specific use which give to the product a very high adhesion and workability.

FEATURESAn accurate and selective choice of the main materials made with a perfect grading curve, thanks to the use of our own crush system, produce just adding water a mortar very plastic and easily workable. Used as an insulating screed can be applied directly on every kind of interior and exterior but stable and not subjected to rising damp. No cracks, no detachment it’s breathable and impact resistant. It is the perfect base to receive every kind of floor. The composition of INTOMASSO THERMO, with a low specific weight, allows a very high thermal and acoustic insulation.

USEINTOMASSO THERMO is a premixed lightened mortar with light mineral aggregates at compensated shrinkage and controlled dry ideal for the realization by hand or mechanically of insulating base coat screeds, to apply directly on every kind of interior and exterior but stable and not subjected to rising damp, perfect to receive the following application of every kind of floor as: ceramics, cotto tiles, natural stones, parquets, carpets, rubber, etc.

APPLICATIONVerify that the substrate is resistant and has a u.r. < 2%.Remove from the substrate all the crumbling and inconsistent parts; removing dusts, mud, bitumen, oil stains, etc.Take care to prepare the ground removing cracks and if necessary insulate and waterproof.Apply along the perimeter walls a tape of comprimible material with a thickness between mm 4 and 8. To apply bonding grout, made from 1 part in volume of latex INTOGUM, 1 part of water and 2 parts of cement. Apply the grout with a brush or with a broom. Lay the screed INTOMASSO THERMO with the “fresh on fresh” technique.Apply special sideboards heavily galvanized.Screed with a specific h-shaped level staff.The minimum thickness of finished product don’t have to be lower to cm 4.To mix in a cement mixer or with a pressure pump or by hand, until when the mixture isn’t homogeneous; with a continuous mixer or with a plaster sprayer regulating the flow-meter until when the density isn’t perfect. The mixture must have the texture of a fluid mortar.Is recommended to insert on the screed MALVIN NET 4.4 network in glass fiber certified ETAG 004 mesh 4x4 cm, with weight of 130 gr/mq, taking care to keep it raised from the subfloor such as to result insert on the first/third of the screed.Place splits of the screed in correspondence of thresholds, doors or protrusions and anyhow limiting the surface realizable for every single cast for max. 40 mq.In presence of canalizations and ducts and big endorsements insert on the screed MALVIN NET 4.4network in glass fiber certified ETAG 004 mesh 4x4 cm, with weight of 130 gr/mq. insert on the screed a fine network with hexagonal sheets.In case oh high temperatures, with wind or low humidity, is recommended to protect from the quick drying drowning the substrates.Protect the screed from the wind and the sun for 48 hours at least.Don’t apply on frozen substrates, with frost or possible frost in 24 hours. Don’t apply with strong wind or in very sunny days.Don’t apply until when the substrates isn’t completely dried.Don’t apply on inconsistent and friable substrates.Don’t apply with driving rain.

Don’t add any other material to the product.We suggest to apply INTOMASSO THERMO with a temperature between + 5 ° C and + 30 ° C.Finish the screed with a sponge float or with a rotary disc machine.Use self-leveling INTOMASSO AL if you want to obtain a screed with a perfectly smooth surface. Waiting time for the laying of the leveling or of the self-leveling INTOMASSO AL 48/72 hours at least.Before the laying of the floors treat the substrates with a specific consolidating “INTODUR”.Laying the floors after being sure that the humidity of the screed is lower to 2% in every case never before 4 weeks for screed with thicknesses of 4 cm.Is recommended to use adhesives with a good elasticity for the laying of the ceramic floors.Can be walked on 24/48 hours.

YIELD6/7 kg/mq for each cm of thickness.

PACKAGING Multi-ply paper sacks with protection of kg 20 on wood pallets of 12,00 ql. (60 sacks).
