    A).Presenting yourself and Documents:

    1. Use formal dress to appear for aninterview.

    2. Avoid using new clothes because onemay not know how to function in them.

    3. It is not wise to change usual hairstyles or clothing patterns as they willinconvenience the candidate.

    4. Use executive clothing, deep and

    bright colours may not suit theoccasion.

    5. Cloths have to be clean and ironed torepresent order and discipline.

    6. Carry a pen in the pocket or in thefolder.

    B).Entry, Seating and Exit:

    1. Know at the door and then enter evenif your name is called out.

    2. Greet the interviewers as soon as youenter, the lady first and the gentlementhereafter.

    3. Sit down only after you are asked to.

    4. Remember to say Thank you beforebeing seated.

    5. Avoid pulling a chair. Instead, lift it ifnecessary and always enter from the

    right side of the chair.

    6. Sit without crossing legs and sit

    straight.

    7. Look at the interviewers instead oflooking down.

    8. Keep whatever paper materials youcarry on your lap, and not on the

    table.

    9. Bend forward while answering

    questions.

    interviewers also. Avoid fidgeting liketouching moustache, scratching noseor arranging hair.

    1. Listen to questions carefully tocomprehend. If you have notunderstood a question, politelyrequest for a repeat.

    2. Give short answers unless asked forlonger ones.

    3. Be confident but not arrogant.

    far as I know.

    5. Mouth all words clearly and speak

    loud enough to hear.

    8. Keep looking at the interviewers andnever at other things in the room or

    14. If you are complimented for theanswers, remember to thank the

    interviewer.

    rejected by the interviewer, rememberto say sorry.

    1. Keep a smiling face so as to welcomeany question. (As you know Smile costsnothing)

    2. Avoid any disagreement with theinterviewer unless it involves your beliefsystems.

    3. If or when the candidate has to disagreewith the interviewer do it politely after

    expressing regret or asking for a pardon.

    4. It is unwise to contradict an answerthrough a subsequent answer.

    5. If an error is brought to the notice ofa candidate, he should accept the

    same.

    6. Use a language that is easy to

    understand but formal in its usage.

    7. A candidate should avoid offering herhand for a hand shake. All the same,if offered by the interviewer, sheshould accept it.

    8. While a male candidate has to standup to shake hands, a lady may accept

    an offer while being seated.
