About  the  NC  Educa)on  Cloud  

 The  NC  Educa8on  Cloud  is  a  service  delivery  

plaJorm  for  modern  instruc8onal  and  administra8ve  support  systems.      

 It  will:  

•  Establish  PK-­‐12  educa8on  technology  cloud  infrastructure  to  provide  cost-­‐effec8ve  and  robust  networking  infrastructure  for  LEAs

Current  Accomplishments  • Con8nued  Vendor  and  Stakeholder  Mee8ngs  The  IAM  team  has  con8nued  having  numerous  mee8ngs  and  discussions  with  vendors  and  stakeholders  to  inform  the  IAM  planning  process.    The  team  has  also  established  key  rela8onships  with  other  state  en88es/agencies  that  will  be  collabora8ng  with  the  IAM  system.    

• IAM  Proof  of  Concept  –  Summer  2011  The  IAM  team  met  with  vendors  for  mul8-­‐day  proof  of  concept  sessions  to  demonstrate  capabili8es  of  products  against  the  IAM  requirements.
