UC Leuven-Limburg (UCLL) is one of the major
universities of applied sciences in Flanders with
14,000 students and 9 campuses.
Our English language degree programmes are offered on our
Leuven campuses. In addition we offer a number
of exchange programmes in applied IT, business
management, entrepreneurship and business innovation,
social work, teacher education, on our Leuven and Limburg
campuses.
We want our students and staff to be Moving Minds. It is our
goal to motivate people and turn future-proof ideas into
action.

‘A SMART UNIVERSITY IN A SMART CITY’ 23-27 MARCH 2020
Within the emerging field of Smart Cities UC Leuven-
Limburg offers you the opportunity to learn about
Smart City innovations by addressing the best
practice examples on smart transformation whilst
disseminating guidance and information
transformation within data, energy, security,
transport, infrastructure and other key sectors. At
the same time we present our own attempt to
transform our university into a Smart Campus.

‘SPIRIT OF EUROPE: ENTREPRENEURSHIP, INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY’ 24 MAY - 13 JUNE 2020
Our goal as UC Leuven-Limburg is to become an
international campus and the Summer School is one
of the ways to achieve this. Much like the
participating students, the Summer School crosses
borders itself. The Summer School is a joint effort
between UCLL and Fachhochschule Aachen,
Germany hence the venues during the programme
are the Belgian cities of Leuven and Hasselt/
Diepenbeek and the German city of Aachen.
Students will be offered an exciting three-week
programme of lectures, workshops and excursions
and there will be many opportunities to get an
impression of the cultural differences in Europe.
