WHAT IS THE ILA?

The ILA (International Leadership Assembly) is a big international gathering where all KKI leaders, staff, participants, friends (including parents, intercessors, pastors, YWAM leaders/staff and other ministry leaders) are invited for one week of gathering, strengthening and equipping.

We had such worldwide gatherings in 2010 in Brazil, in 2006 in China, in 2002 in Thailand, in 1999 in Korea, 1994 in the USA and 1991 in Spain. We have been waiting for the right timing for the next one and we believe the time has come.

This time together is essential for the health and connection of our ministry, as KKI can be very

different in its expressions around the world. This is a time for building the relationships that constitute the heart of our ministry.

Furthermore, after a time of difficulties and challenges where the Lord has spoken to us and corrected us, we strongly believe we are in a time of relaunching of the ministry that will lead to growth and multiplication. The timing is important: KKI celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2016 and we believe the number 40 is symbolic. It speaks about coming out of a difficult time to enter a new season of anointing and impact. We want to gather and listen to the Lord’s wisdom and finetune our hearts with His to move together as one.

Worship from the nations Inspiring, challenging and encouraging messages Workshops that will help you in your ministry, like: – Fund raising and planning for your project/ministry – Understanding today's society – Different ways to minister to your kids, youth and the whole community –  Protecting children –  Working with the local church – Leadership – Training your staff – And many more... A market place with information about King's Kids and other children's ministries around the world A festival of the nations An outing Celebrating our 40th anniversary A program for your younger children

And of course a lot of time for relationship building with old and new friends, hearing God's voice togeth-er and get a vision for the way ahead into the next 40 years. (or more of what Guy wrote)

THE LOCATION

The ILA will happen in La Sablière, Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Why Ivory Coast? After Europe and the Middle-East, after the Americas, after China and Asia. God has been speaking to us these last few years about Africa. Some of our outreach strategies have already started to focus on this continent, with

Gateway and Planting Together.Some may say that Africa is far away and expensive to travel to. But think about all our African friends who paid a huge price all the other times. It is our turn to go there and to receive from their sense of celebration, joy and passion for the Lord.
