February 28 th 2014 Dear Parents What a wonderful International Day that was! Such a celebration of our diversity, our cultures and our Greenfield Community spirit. It was a real pleasure to be part of it and to see our school coming together to celebrate our international identities. Many, many thanks to our wonderful GCP group led by Ms Dipika. They worked so hard to make International Day special and it certainly was…a celebration of Greenfield Community. So thank you to our GCP, our students and teachers and all our parents for a wonderful International Day that was enjoyed by everyone. As you know, our Dubai School Inspection Visit will be on March 10 th and we are holding an information session to give you some background on the Visit. This session will be held on Monday March 3 rd at 0800 -0900 and repeated at 1830 - 1930 in the auditorium. In the session, we will explain what is required of the Visit, the framework that is used for grading schools and the data that is necessary to show Progress and Attainment. I do hope that you will be able to join us for one of these sessions as there is so much more to the Visit than just the final grading that is published. We have already completed our self-evaluation which has been sent to the DSIB and are now preparing the evidence for the grades that we gave ourselves. By now you will have received the DSIB questionnaires which need to be completed on line. This process acts as further evidence of our self- evaluation and I would be very grateful if you would complete the questionnaire before March 10 th . It gives important feedback to the DSIB and evidence of our parents’ involvement in the school. I would also like to remind you to please send in your photos with the registration form for your personal ID badge. We will extend the deadline until March 10 th but would like to ensure that everyone has their badges soon after this date. Many thanks to the parents who have volunteered to help with the distribution of the badges once they have been made up. Our next fun activity will be a Fun Run that will take place on March 14 th . It is not only a run but a jog, a sprint, a skip etc.! The focus is in getting as many people to participate as possible so that we can have fun and also raise some money for our Global Outreach charities in Tanzania and Nepal. We will send you more information separately but please do keep the date free and come along and join in! There will be interviews held for the Principal’s position on Sunday March 2 nd and hopefully our CEO will be able to announce the new appointment shortly afterwards. Kind Regards Angela Hollington Principal

Dear Parents

What a wonderful International Day that was!

As you know, our Dubai School Inspection Visit will be on March 10th and we are holding an information session to give you some background on the Visit.
