Essential criteria Understanding of the ICMS community Good written and verbal communication skills Self-presentation – understanding of the workplace conduct and acting as a role model in the community Being able to do Resident Leader on Call and on Duty tasks Being able to deal with conflicts well Ability to provide mental and first aid health if required Ability to provide Fire Warden Duties if required Provide an efficient communication and interaction with the ICMS residential community Selection Criteria To be considered you will need to meet ONE of the following requirements: 1. Successfully completing a Resident Advocate program 2. Demonstrate significant level of contribution towards ICMS community 3. Provide evidence of similar experience outside of ICMS

Culture Demonstrate a high level of customer service ethic to all stakeholders including key relationships, the broader ICMS student and staff community as well as local community To inspire, respect, lead, support and empower all residents.

Operations assistance

Assisting with check in and check out procedures as well as being responsible for a designated residential area. Liaise with the relevant staff as required about incidents, conditions of residential life and students; Being available to assist with making security rounds of the college, assisting students locked out of residential rooms and assisting ICMS to deal with emergencies or problems that arise.

Lead the residential experience on campus

Create, with the Resident Leader Team, the residential community atmosphere with running of activities for the residents on a weekly basis while providing the day to day interaction with the residential student community

-Organising community building activities and events such as: - pancake, BBQ, Pizza night - Sport activities on campus - Beach trips - Term events/parties

Efficient collaborative leadership and team work

Ready to replace another RL should it be required or provide additional support during the peak time and community building period

Management and monitoring of a designated residential area.

Responsible for the overall safety, security and welfare of a designated residential area. Orientate new and returning students to residential life.

-Being the main point of contact for all residents of a specific floor Organising regular floor meetings and activities with the residents -Educate residents on recycling procedures - Monitor Study Focus areas ( if applicable)

Contribution Attend ICMS functions in the capacity of RL Must be available to attend: - Enrolment day - Oweek - Graduation - Open Days - Information Evenings.
