Favorite Food: I could eat sushi every day Favorite Music: Mostly something I can dance to, but not hip hop. Random fact about yourself you'd like to share: Before studying fashion I wanted to be a professional ballet dancer. What do you see as a similarity between your country and the United States? People in the US are welcoming and are curious about people from other countries just as Brazilians are. Brazil and the US also have pretty much the same type of food but the cooking and the diet are different. What do you think is one of the biggest differences between your country and the U.S.? The biggest difference is definitely the economy; the US has a much better economic situation than my country. Other than that, as I mentioned before our diets differ a lot, even though we have the same food; and the weather. In Sao Paulo we do not have snow; our winter temperatures are the same as the fall temperatures here. This comic’s name can be read in two ways: Blame the Comic or “Blame” (v.) the Comic, which is exactly what he wants you to do because you never really know where this comic is coming from. A native Houstonian, Blame is not only a jokester, but a college graduate from the University of Houston (2006). It took only eight years and $30,000 for him to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Communications Media Production and a minor in English to discover that he wanted to be a comic. He experienced early success in his career with an appearance on B.E.T’s hit comedy competition show, “Coming to the Stage” (2004) and winning several national comedy competitions, including, The Kings and Queens of Comedy competition (2004), Las Vegas Comedy Festival Regional winner for the college category where he performed at the Stardust Hotel. CAMPUS ACTIVITIES BOARD

STUDENT SENATE

CAB is a voluntary student organization, which provides most of the social and cultural events on campus. CAB is open for all students to join because they are always looking for student input and participation. They sponsor a variety of comedians, musicians and entertainers on campus. Some of the events that CAB hosts throughout the year include the Fall and Spring Fests, Lunchtime Lives, 3rd Thursday and Breakfast with Santa.Meetings this month:Wednesday Nov. 7 and 21 at 5 PM in S103For more information, stop by Student Activities or check us out on Facebook!

The Student Senate serves as a representation for all GCC students and their collective interest. SAB promotes the cultural, education and social needs of the entire campus community. They work closely with the college administration and staff to ensure that the voice of the student body is heard.
