Abstract— The main scope of my project to provide data transmission without wired connection or WiFi technology instead of using wireless medium of light spectrum Wireless communication is an essential part of next generation for communication system. Our paper presents the implementation of an integration technique used to combine power line communications (PLC) and visible light communications (VLC) channels in inter- building scenarios. So we use the Narrow Band Power Line Communication (NBPLC) such as the Phase-shift keying (PSK) is used to convey the information over the PLC link and color shift keying (CSK) technique is used on the VLC link. Visible Light Communication (VLC) based on white Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) is used for transmitting the data to long range communication without any obstacles. Finally implementation of visible light communication in our system for data transmission Index TermsPLC, VLC, shift Keying, RGB, White LED. INTRODUCTION

It is a new paradigm of revolution which is a

continuation of the trend to move toward higher

frequency spectrum in the field of indoor wireless

communication. If we talk about high speed indoor

wireless communication, can bring new dimension in

term of data communication speed by utilizing visible

light spectrum. The concept behind this technology is

that the data can be transmitted with the help of light

emitting diode (LED) bulbs and transmission rate can

luminous per watt is more not efficient than the

incandescent and fluorescent bulbs. A high efficient

SMPS is used to convert from AC to DC voltage to

increase the power efficiency. [2] Megha

keying is typically implemented using vlc light bulbs

at the downlink transmitter. However, by fast and

subtle variations of the current, the optical output

cannot be made to vary at extremely high speeds.[3]

Schnichiro Haruyama,The concept of light data

communication on fast flickering of light which is

not detected by human eye but it is focused on photo

detector which converts the on-off state into binary

digital data.[4] Z. Jia, purtioee.M, Each light fixture

in the application environment becomes a separate

data channel. These channels can supply different

data into each separate pool of light, delivered at the

full rated download speed for that channel.

Minimum-security levels power lines do not

necessarily provide a secure media. Data attenuation

due to the presence of numerous elements on a

power line network, data attenuation is likely to be

an issue.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:

The PLC/VLC shift technique is analyzed with

the channel model of PSK and CSK. A system

of white LED’s is integrated with the PLC

channel using frequency-shift keying and phase

shift keying. The interface between PLC and

VLC channels using binary frequency shift

keying. The On-Off keying is used for low bit

rate error occurrences while transmitting the

data. The result of VLC channel system is

imposed by the bad channel, and produces a

noise of data variation by using the PSK without

a Pulse with Modulation technique.

SCOPE:

The PSK-CSK mapping method is done by

using the PLC MODEM and VLC Communication.

The time parameters are using for the testing of data

sending through PLC and VLC, so therefore there is

a need of Intensity Modulation (IM). In IM signal is

modulated in to optical signal of instantaneous

power. This signal is received at a receiver by using

Direct Detection (DD) method. In Direct Detection

(DD) a photodiode is used to convert the optical

signal power into a proportional current. Finally the

data is transmitted without any external hardware

device.

Visible light communication (VLC) is “A potential solution to the global wireless spectrum shortage” Light Fidelity” is a fast and cheap optical version of Wi-Fi, the technology of which is based on Visible Light Communication (VLC).VLC is a data communication medium, which uses visible light between 400 THz (780 nm) and 800 THz (375 nm) as optical carrier for data transmission and illumination. It uses fast pulses of light to transmit information wirelessly. The main components of this communication system are 1) a high brightness white LED, Which acts as a communication source and 2) a silicon photodiode which shows good response to visible wavelength region serving as the receiving of data light to generate the flicking rate.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN:

It is possible to encode data in the light by varying the rate at which the LEDs flicker on and off to give different strings of 1s and 0s. The LED intensity is modulated so rapidly that human eyes cannot notice, so the output appears constant. More sophisticated techniques could dramatically increase VLC data rates.Finally we are are focusing on parallel data transmission using arrays of LEDs, where each LED transmits a different data stream. Other groups are using mixtures of red, green and blue LEDs to alter the light's frequency, with each frequency encoding a different data channel

We propose a system based on PSK and CSK

modulation techniques to link PLC and VLC

channels for inter-building applications. The CSK

technique exploits the color wheel method to map

complex symbols to colors. A CSK transmitter

redistributes the observed PLC symbols over the

VLC channel using red-green blue LEDs (RGB

LEDs). When the binary input (fb) changes from a

logic 1 to a logic 0 and vice versa, the FSK output

frequency shifts from a mark ( fm) to a space (fs)

CONCLUSION:

I conclude that VLC communication is the future

based technology. Through this light

communication we can access and communicate

faster than radio waves. It uses Light spectrum

waves for connectivity. For effective and low

cost level data transmission in the absence of

wired connection is possible with the technology

of PLC into VLC method with the help of white

LED.

FUTURE SCOPE:

LIFI is a great platform to know about the data

transfer in wireless medium. Thus it enables us to

make use of LED as hotspot in similar manner as

WIFI dose. It will also enable us to exchange the

message in faster and easier manner. In this study

efforts have been taken to transfer the data using

LIFI between computers. The same can be

implemented using other devices.
