Strategies for NMT

• Creation of complete streets for facilitating non-motorised movements

• Improving access to mass transit stations - Local Area Access Plans (LAAP)

• Design of pedestrian and cycle friendly streets having continuous and well maintained footpaths

• Preference for legally constituted bodies involving main players to establish and

oversee UCCs
